Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

  • Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously

  • Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side

  • Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop

  • HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

  • Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)

  • Download this google chrome extension so once you manually sync the videos up, the extension will keep both videos synced up when you play/pause, move around in the video, etc (can also pick up where you left off if you close the windows.) The reason Beta stays as Beta and doesn’t take over might just be that he doesn’t want the responsibility of being a leader. It’s a lot easier to just beat up and intimidate people and not have to make any real decisions.

Daryl vs Beta let's goooo. Also, Angela Kang became showrunner for season 9 but she's been a screenwriter on the show since season 2. So it's not like a complete outsider came in and took over the show.

The writing team didn't completely change in Season 9. Most of the writers on Season 9 have been writing for the show for years. The main difference is they changed the showrunner. Scott Gimple was the showrunner for Seasons 4 through 8, and he was replaced by Angela Kang for Seasons 9 through 11. But both Kang and Gimple have been working on the show since Season 2, as have many of the writers on the Season 9 team. As for Game of Thrones, funnily enough the writing team never changed. It was the same writers and showrunners for the whole thing. But their style changed, and the quality plummeted when they ran out of book material (tbh, it dropped even before they fully ran out, as they became less and less faithful to the books anyway).

i think carol knew the highway men were reasonable, and they were playing tough. but they now get a movie and access to kingdom, they get the food and water too, its a good trade, he just didnt want to seem weak. He knows it was a good deal before the movie. IMO at least. also beta isnt into politics, hes a crazy man. a walker fanatic. He will follow alpha and protect her, but not a person you want leading people.

You're thinking like a 2026 person about the movie story point. It's been almost a decade since the world fell. Something as normal as a cinema? When you've had no tech, film/TV for years - that would be pretty cool to many people. I still love how Daryl has so much more to do and say in s9. He lost a lot of that in 7/8.
