This week I'm in the process of relocation to Austin TX from Detroit.

1. Book (possibly) in the Pipeline - 'The Burnout Society' by Byung-Chul Han

Recently heard about this Korean born German philosopher, and decided this sounded right in line with how I've been feeling about everything as of late.

Undoubtedly, Han’s unusual background has contributed to his mystique. Born in Seoul in 1959, he studied metallurgy after leaving high school, and nearly killed himself in a chemical explosion at his family home. At 26, he left for Germany without knowing the language.

2. A terrific song recorded in Detroit

Can't go wrong with The Stooges.

When I drive to this I can't help but smack the steering wheel to the beat. The drums in this rehearsal are solid.

3. David Bowie's Favorite Books.

Also, this is an additional list created by fans of BTF on instagram - some great recommendations in here.

4. Interesting Article on Writing Transgressive Fiction

5. If You'd Like To Keep Your Coffee Fresh...

I recommend these. Tried 1 and just bought 2 more.

Welcome to Texas. 'The Burnout Society ' looks like something that would be right up my alley.

An oddly dystopian/utopian photo. It's got urban decay and nature reclaiming its ground. And a witness to it.
