I'm a sucker for these, and I cannot wait to see more :) Thanks for this.

I own no great art pieces so my bookshelf is filled with affordable works of art. Sometimes I just stare at it like I'm in a museum. You have a nice collection. Good job and once again you showed some books that I must read. The stranger the better at this point.

Holy SHIT I haven’t clicked a notification so fast in my life. I work at a used bookstore and I’m going back to school so I’ve been so busy that it’s hard to keep up with personal indulgences outside of reading. Your channel has always been one of my biggest things I keep track of on a regular basis. I’ve always wondered about your shelves. Thanks for the vid. All the best.

David Shaw

Loved the video. I have read a few from your shelf, and it gives me lots of great new authors to follow as well as some cool places to shop for books. I’ll probably rewatch this a couple times and write down some that I want to add to my collection. I am definitely interested in the history of Punk music so I’ll be getting the book- Please Kill Me. Interesting title. I recently went through my own collection, not nearly as many titles as you have but I have like 30+ that I bought that I still need to read. Great stuff! Thanks for sharing your collection with us.

Levi S

Legend! Thanks so much for doing this, man. The people definitely want more!

Harold Niver

Seeing so many books on your shelves that you haven’t read makes me feel better about my own, which are much the same. Love the video, and looking forward to the next one. Thanks!

Leonardo Estrela

Nobody motivates me to read more than you, Cliff. I'll go and pick up Don Quixote again after watching this!

Michael Brown

This is great - but you need more Mishima in your bookshelf ;)

Sanyam Arora

Great post Cliff, and thanks for taking up on the suggestions here. Can't wait for part 2.

Andrew A

Thanks for sharing. Could watch these kinds of videos all day. And if it makes you feel any better, my "library" has now spilled over to multiple stacks on the floor. The only downside of watching your content is I need to buy another bookshelf, though it may have to go in the kitchen.

Jay Waltz

This is awesome!! Thank you for the tour!!

Maxime B.

Loved the format, I could watch hours of this. So many intriguing books I’ve never heard of.

Nicolas Lemay-Castonguay

Loved it ! I’m thinking about sending you a copie of the french version of Soumission soon. Cheers!

Peter Willett

Thanks for the tour, Cliff. I'm looking forward to Part ll. The only remedy for tsundoku is to keep reading!

carl morales

I would Aldo love to see a favourite (of all timme according to u) book list...

Anders Romeling

Great video and really nice with some variation mixed with your book reviews. Looking forward to pt 2.!!

Sweeney in the Trees

I think that's a 1969 first edition of "Fourth Mansions", while not that rare, it's becoming harder to find in good condition as Rafferty has been going under something of a re-evaluation lately. A very nice gift.

Flavia Reis

Not boring at all. Keep it up!

Kendell Robles

Keep it up. Would love to see the whole collection!

Connor Smith

re: Woolf: The Waves is her most impenetrable & experimental novel -- Orlando is better, but you might enjoy just starting with To The Lighthouse more.

Hypn0mad

More please!

Sadie Sarrazin

Lovely video! Regarding Woolf: highly recommend beginning with A Room of One’s Own. Next, you should definitely jump into Mrs. Dalloway. Happy reading!

Rylee

We need an updated 2021 version ;)
