Good evening ya'll, hope you enjoy the new review of Something Wicked This Way Comes

Have a great weekend, more dark reviews to come for October

1. Coming Soon - Feast of Snakes by Harry Crews

Been meaning to get to this for ages. It was sent to me by a kind fan Dana recently.

-----------------------------------

From the acclaimed author of such novels as "Blood and Grits" and "Childhood" comes a wildly weird and breathtakingly original visit to the rural South that reveals the exotic subculture that erupts in all its glory at the Rattlesnake Roundup in Mystic, Georgia. "No number of adjectives in the thesaurus can do full justice to the dazzlingly bizarre nature of Crews' creations"-- "Washington Post Book World"

2. The Industrial Death-Ritual Techno of Trepaneringsritualen

Oh my God I've waited my whole life for this.

It's like members of the Aghori started a noise band.

Time for an extra set of pinwheel curls.

3. The Ending of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Gives me chills. Watched this one for the first time in years the other night.

What a film…transcends the genre and goes somewhere reaaal strange.

This is me next year when I leave the Pacific Northwest.

4. If you haven't experienced the glory of Arnold's cigar monologue...

Wait till the end.

That laugh. Legendary.

5. Little Red Riding Hood

Oh man, this has been a favorite since I was like...10

Recently watched Texas Chainsaw massacre again and was similarly blown away by that ending. Such beauty and horror in those final shots. I moved to this part of Texas from the PNW earlier this year and can confirm it is both horrific and beautiful in person
