Better Than Friday - 156 (Patreon)

Good evening ya'll, hope you have a great weekend.

Currently editing a review of Michel Houellebecq's essay/interview collection "Interventions 2020". Great read.

Have a terrific weekend, thanks for all your support.

1. Book I'd like to read - The Letter Killers Club by Sigizmund KrzhizhanovskyA suggestion from Meatball Malikigan in the discord channel.

Seems to be a story about an odd literary secret society in 1920's Moscow. Their aim is to develop increasingly more original 'concepts' together, but maintain their purity by never writing them down.

2. "This...is not meth."I watched the first season of Breaking Bad like 10 years ago. Never made it to the second. Currently correcting this regrettable decision.

3. Sheena is a ParasiteNever cared for the direction these guys took after their early stuff, but this collaboration with Chris Cunningham was grotesque and spectacular.

4. Tim Dillon rant to end all rants

Best thing I've heard recently.

5. VR SEXLove this track.

L.A. Post-Punk Synth Death-Rock(?)

An acquaintance of mine, Aaron Montaigne, is in this band along with the fellow from Drab Majesty. Maiden China is another good one.
