Goood evening everyone, hope you have a fine weekend and are reading something spectacular. Thanks very much for your support.

1. Bout time I gave this a go

given the recent events.

Glad he survived, hope he pulls through.

2. Ça Plane Pour MoiOne of the memorable moments of my 20's was on top of the Ace Hotel in Downtown LA on Halloween of 2015 (or 16?) dancing to this song. That night I was dressed as a dead cowboy, my wife was dressed as a devil, and Devendra Banhart, who I'd met briefly earlier in the evening, was dressed as Wonder Woman. This track came on and I remember dancing with a stranger in a skin-tight black leotard who had, where his head should've been, a single giant inflatable eyeball.

3. The Scene that Scares the Hell out of my Wife

Me too.

Lost Highway is so dope. Just saw it in the theater.

Bill Pullman is so rad in this.

Still just as confused as the first time I saw it.

4. Moonage Daydream

Looks solid. Miss that guy.

5. Yohei SatoYohei worked at the 'Samurai Bento' cart when I was in art school in downtown Portland, where I discovered the glory of Yakisoba. Nice guy. You could tell he was an interesting dude. I never knew him personally, but I always remember him as smiling and extremely polite. Sad news...A real shame.

Can't beat the sunrises here

I miss Bowie too. Saw the Diamond Dogs tour in Philly. I love Lynch. Inland Empire is getting a Criterion Collection version soon.

I've rewatched Lost Highway twice in the last 3 months. My daughter's boyfriend is a big Lynch fan. I'll share my opinion about what's going on in that movie next time we talk, but suffice it to say that all of Lynch's movies rely largely on POV shifts.
