3D PRINTED SIM RACING BUTTON BOX FOR DIY ENTHUSIASTS 🙌

Hi everyone! In today’s video, I’m showing you a project—or actually two projects—of easy-to-make button boxes for Sim Racing. The project isn’t very difficult, but you will need a 3D printer (FDM) and someone who can make laser-cut aluminum or steel plates for you. The most interesting part is the frame, which has a textured version that looks like carbon fiber. You’ll need to take a close look to notice it’s made with 3D printing. As for the wiring, I’m not an expert. The project supports up to 32 functions, so the AMstudio video might help—link below: https://youtu.be/Z7Sc4MJ8RPM If you know other controllers like LeoBodnar, feel free to use what works best for you. If you want to build one of my projects for personal use, always read the product descriptions carefully and check what’s included in the package. I hope you enjoy making SimRacing accessories as much as I do, and that they are useful for your setup. Good luck! 🙌 https://www.patreon.com/EVERLOST Vertical Button Box - smooth version: https://www.patreon.com/EVERLOST/shop/457159 Vertical Button Box - textured version: https://www.patreon.com/EVERLOST/shop/457168 Horizontal Button Box - smooth version: https://www.patreon.com/EVERLOST/shop/457170 Horizontal Button Box - textured version: https://www.patreon.com/EVERLOST/shop/457171

Ian

good morning i bought your button box but cant open the acrobat documents for the front and back plates can you send these as an attachment by email

EVERLOST

Sure, but it’s regular vector graphics, did you installed latest Adobe reader? This files are normally used by printing companies 🤔

Ian

Yes just can't view it

Ian

So I have reinstalled Adobe I can view the plates but it's just a code that doesn't mean anything to me all I need is a dimensional drawing for both, I j7st want to print and manufacture for my family

EVERLOST

The project includes 3 types of files: 1. STL - files processed by a slicer for 3D printing 2. DXF - files for cutting the plates at any company working with CNC; it's a basic standard 3. PDF - graphic files at a 1:1 scale for the plates, to be applied with extra margin around the edges. Printing companies use these files to prepare the stickers, which I order myself. If you want the dimensions and hole patterns for the plates to cut them yourself, I can prepare them today and add them to all button box projects. That's a great idea 👍. Will write to you PM.

Ian

If it's not too much trouble I would like to have the dimentions and hole patterns please, sorry to be a nuisance, best regards ian

EVERLOST

All digital products for button boxes have been updated to version 1.1, in which the dimensions of the plates are provided on A4 sheets with the centers of the holes marked for drilling. The diameters of the holes are specified in the product descriptions.

Ian

Thank you very much what you've done is very much appreciated, regards ian
