Glad Tom Scott is finally able to look Jordan in the eyes after years of traumatic e-mail spamming

Greg Goober

I thought for sure he'd shoot him on sight!

The entire discussion around game shows I was like "oh man I wonder if they know about The Genius" and then Tom Scott pulls it out in the last minute. Pretty sure I watched it on YouTube btw

sarahFYI

nvm I guess they took them down, but check r/TheGenius for links to watch it

Dan

Man this episode is such a throwback! The show like the ones you guys were talking about that I would have seen the most was jungle run

rougezapato

Damn I haven’t thought about Dero! In years. Favorite part of the show is a challenge in which a team has to solve an escape room…WHILE IT SLOWLY FILLS UP WITH WATER 😭

Amelia

Iain Stirlingthe the voice over guy for love island was also an announcer for the cbbc and was the host for in-betweens shows

Max Goisser

There's also "The Devil's Plan" on Netflix (currently on season 2 with no renewal announcement yet), which is by the same creator and very similar. The main downside of the show is that contrary to many other gameshows, the games can really be quite complicated to the point where it becomes hard to understand as a viewer, but luckily there are usually enough social elements of backstabbing, etc., to keep in interesting either way.

just to get a third generation of british nerd in, I know about knightmare cos youtube did a "nerd week" in like 2014/15 and one of the things was a knightmare parody with a bunch of youtubers (btw i'd say trapped was my iconic cbbc show, raven ruled too tho)

Elliot Rae

With a propensity for playing pokemon!

Ashleigh Boggs

In the main episode, when Jarvis said "someone doing their dishes is like shit, shit." I'm here cuz the episode ended in the middle of me mopping my floors.

Christopher Heitmann

I was thinking that The Genius seemed similar to Devil's Plan! Great show

Esther Thornton

Oh my goodness, Raven being bought up immediately reignited my memory of the CBBC show Trapped which I watched RELIGIOUSLY about all of those kids being trapped in a tower. Never very obvious what happened to them if they remained trapped. Horrifying, and so creepy, but literally my favourite show

Owen Pascal

As a lifetime American teaboo, I fell in love with British panel shows on YouTube, and while I was ready to enjoy them, I was astounded at how actually good they are since I've always been allergic to watching game shows over here.
