as an okc fan (sorry) i have really loved seeing how much ajay mitchell has improved as a player this season! he gets more mins than he did last year-- when he was already making a big impact-- and is making such great use of them. i also feel like having a second golden age as a team has meant SO MUCH for our state (shout out sam presti, my beloved); the vibe after the championships last year was INCREDIBLE and, given how much oklahoma sucks to live in, it would be so cool to get another this year!

i appreciate the convo on “the adaptation doesn’t take anything away from the original” bc i strongly hold the opinions that yes adaptions are often cash grabs that lack integrity, and bc of that they’re often not very good/disappointing, AND no one is forcing you to engage with an adaption and they will very very rarely ever prevent you from engaging the original. i’m also a person that will absolutely build my own canon by cherry picking different aspects from multiple versions of one piece of media lol edit: same deal with “unnecessary” sequels - to me, fast 9 does not exist, it just skips from 8 to 10 to ME

what was really funny for me was seeing a bunch of ppl freaking out about how taylor swift complimented sombr's lyrics, and they were saying they're like the type of thing teenagers think is deep. and yes. he was born in 2005 and made those songs when he was either 18 or 19. like, you can like or dislike his songs, but its a weird criticism? same thing with olivia rodrigo's early songs, like they should be kind of immature given she was literally a teenager.
