Gwen

I loooove graffiti so much

I so agree that graffiti actually fucking rocks sometimes. I will absolutely take street art over blank concrete walls

didn’t get a goodnight at the end and now i haven’t slept in four days please send help

Lou Sassle

Agree. But I’d rather have blank concrete walls than gang tags/fake gang tags from high schoolers.

I gotta say… i use the 110 every single day to get to work and I have no idea what they’re talking about with the exits. And I’m not a native… Maybe it’s because I’ve been in LA for 13 years at this point, but… I’ve never thought it was super dangerous or anything merging on/off the 110. Anyone else in LA want to chime in?

Just figured I’d mention that it might not be the safest for Ollie to ride in the front seat of cars even if he’s buckled in! (I mean this as purely informative, absolutely no hate and please double check me on this!) to my knowledge it isn’t considered safe for small dogs to ride in the front seat of cars for the same reason it’s unsafe for small children - the front seat airbag deploys with a force that could harm a small being in a crash rather than help. That said, you might have a dog car seat or crate that has precautions that make it safe to have it in the front seat, so you should check the specific instructions on whatever transport method you are using :)

i have been saying this for years. i think being against graffiti is inherently fascist. graffiti is a way to express culture, and socialism standards and frustration and therefore anti establishment.

I wish I could post a picture but the best recurring Melbourne graffiti (apart from Pam) is Garfies. It’s just Garfield with tits

bingobongo

I live in Portland, OR and I love the graffiti around. Some of them are in crazy locations that are impressive. Like, how did they get there? But there are two tags I see around Portland that are my favorite. "Shrimps is Bugs" and "Fart Boyz"

also oz was a guest on the basement yard podcast which is interesting because hes otherwise seem to have been in a lot of right leaning shows/hosts but ive gleamed the basement yard to have a generally leftist following. Its also interesting since one of their episodes close to that one was featuring doctor mike, whos like known for his accuracy in facts and info lol

Arran P

"Oz the Unethical Mentalist" sounds like the title of a crazy kids book

I'm pro graffiti and tagging being painted over because we only because I think some things need to be ephemeral and I like the idea of the fight between self-expression and social norms that it makes me feel. I'm also the against the "this is art and deserves to stay because I think it's good" of not painting it over.
