I never had any interest in watching creator clash, idk the seriousness of people getting pummeled makes stuff like that unfun for me, but I would LOVE if it was professional wresting and it'd allow so many more people a chance to participate and make a fun event. Tom has got such a knack for production

As someone who watched the first episode of tng recently, loved it, and has always wanted to get into the show, I think it's better off it didn't win like star wars. I spent so much of my life being a huge star wars fan, but mainly what the fans were doing with it, and other creators. The originals I think are great as films. It winning and Disney buying it sucked the magic out so much I just don't care anymore. I barely revisit older star wars content like I used to, and I don't think anything else I'm into has been soured for me in that way. I can still enjoy that stuff I loved when it comes in front of me, but unlike star trek, nothing interesting will be done with Star wars until Disney crumbles one day, which feels as far off as the sun exploding.

jarvis you should get into star trek ! Deep Space 9 is my favorite, it balances the seriousness/silliness well imo

If you folks haven’t seen them, look up some of Tim Conway’s appearances on The Carol Burnett Show (especially the outtake of the Elephant sketch). He was notorious for going completely off-script to purposely crack up the cast, and it never fails to make me nearly pass out laughing.

Yes Star Trek lower decks!!! It’s one of my favorite Star Treks now. My fav Star Trek is DS9, and I think of this show as a love letter to the whole show.

Yes, but for one of them I understand what the subject is, for the other one I have no frame of reference. I don't even know what the point of the game is or what the buttons on the controller do so they might as well be discussing Lithuanian financial regulations and I just kind of zone out.

If you guys like sci fi shows about people talking about conflict I cannot recommend enough Legend of Galactic Heros. Its like 80% the protagonists discussing military history, logistics and doing philosophical debate but like, also theyre on a ship getting actively blown up

I will say that small streamers often love clippers. For streamers who are trying to make it as a creator while having to do something else full time, a clipper is doing the work of advertising them that the streamer does not have the time to do themselves or the money to hire someone to do. Obviously someone should stop clipping if asked, but clippers do provide a benefit for streamers.
