Love me some Hell Cat. Really cool character. Also poor Beast...

Donny Estrada

Between the inhumans video, and this one, it's like you already know what topics I want to see you cover.

Tsa

"Going from 1940s teen love interest to evil fascist dog man" average "peaked in high school" progression lbr

Woodrow Jarvis Hill

Gonna disagree a bit about the actual MCU Hellcat not being anything like 616 Hellcat. I think they got the spine of her right in those Netflix shows -- she's someone with a deep past as a child/teen icon, who is absolutely confident she can do superhero stuff. Who literally pushes hard everyone around her, to be a superhero. And, when she finally gets it, she pays thru the nose for her hubris.

Ini Okon

Can you do a video of moon dragon next🤚🏾

Braystar

I did NOT know this about Hellcat. I know Marvel is never shy about reusing really old characters in a new light but this one really takes the cake.

Rolly

The two things I got from this is that Hellcat's origin story is wild, and that Sir Superhero is cheating on Moon Knight with Sleepwalker

ThiefofRPG

I went from not knowing who this character is, to going there needs to be an animated show about her ASAP.

Jarrett Bement

Best 5$ a month dude i listen to your videos to sleep and your videos have made my girlfriend like marvel and comics so thank you so much keep it up

Patick Rizzo

Love learning about heroes I barely know.

Zachary M Willett

patsy does an Archie speedrun from a teenage romance comic star to fighting demons in her hometown like this is a late season Riverdale plotline, holy shit this is amazing .

Joseph McGivern

Honestly one of my favorite Marvel Heros. Shes a messed up, chaotic, party girl thats convinced she's got this, and you know what? More often than you think, she absolutely does.

TerraTauren

Squirrel Girl by Ryan North and Patsy Walker Hell Cat by Kate Leth were my FIRST EVER MARVEL COMICS so... suffice to say, I have a VERY strange tone impression/faves of Marvel. Love her

Riley

Really wanna see some more X-Men videos. Either more krakoa stuff are more classic stuff. I’ll take whatever sir superhero will give us in general tbh.

OrderlySummit

I'm hoping for a Squadron Supreme deep dive at some point

Jolene Dever

Is the fact that Patsy’s mom wrote hundreds of issues of romantic fanfic about her own daughter and her friends ever called to attention as an unbelievably creepy thing lmao

Christopher Ulichney

Excellent look at a truly unique character in the Marvel Universe. Now how about that Squadron Supreme video? There's a team with real world shenanigans and many different iterations.

Steve Hedge

I hate to be a correction guy, Star Lord first actual apperance was in marvel premiere in 1976. Sure, his more modern appearance and character attitude was in 2004, but the character was around sporadically during the 70's and 80.

Pell D. indestructible

Surprised the Jessica Jones show wasn't mentioned since the show has Patsy and takes her in a questionable direction

Colin Peacock

This is a fun story. Hope this video does well, dude

Sir_Superhero

She's so different from the comics one that I just...didn't really care. There's a text box about it,

Sir_Superhero

That's a different guy actually! Same name, but different man.

gwennie

I think I’ve commented this before, but now since the Squadron is getting some mentions, I’d love to see a video about them!

Chibane Yannis

"Nobody was expecting a Hellcat video out of me" Well rewatching your Ghost Rider video a week or so ago seeing Hellstorm in the background, I thought "Wonder if it'd do a Patsy Walker video" since I only ever read AKA Hellcat and they hint about all the crazy stuff without going into much details ><

Domicci

amazing video i heard of hellcat but didn't know anything about her. cant wait for ghost to get a video

Archaeolinguist

XD I love old comics, like, sure we’ll have 8 overlapping arcs in the same comic that are STILL relevant decades later! Unrelated, I wish she just continued to be a nuisance to Beast as well. I love the idea of her showing up in X-Men comics from time to time *specifically* to annoy Beast with weird requests.

Steve Hedge

Is that a new retcon? I always thought it was Peter quill and they just liked to ignore the marvel premiere origin…until they randomly bring up the Star Lord that gave him the title. I know the son of spartax stuff was a retcon

Maple Wolf

I think Hellcat might be in my top 10 heroes list now, right next to Sleepwalker and Stingray, lol

Mike Smith

Video idea: Justice the forgotten mutant from the New Warriors

Loupy

Squadron supreme video next? I must say I always saw Hellcat in crossovers and the return centertown comics was confusing to me when i stumble upon it, but now i get why she is so over the place in what i saw her in.

Miles

Can't wait for the Squadron Supreme video!

Findlay

Hellcat 🤘 such a cool history

Aidan

Peak referenced (Sleepwalker mention)

Velocipastor fan

Love how Patsy was supposed to cover the entirety of Alaska because how would she? It’s the biggest state and has a ton of water and empty woods that she’d have to traverse

killer melon

My dumb butt confused Hellcat and Wildcat and was very confused as to how he became a she, and was in marvel now lol

MarsWulf

Between this and Xenmu, when’s a video on the Roxxon corporation coming? Just from a cursory look, it’s insane how many series they’ve played a part in and how many villains they are directly responsible for!

Guyofguyness

It's always back to Sleepwalker... <3 My boi.

Diego Montana

I do really like learning about the characters that come out of real world publication debacles. Inhumans; Marville. Ooh, Sleepwalker cameo! Was not expecting that! Need more love for reality warming Martian Manhunter. I’m surprised there was no mention of Ghost Rider anywhere here, but maybe those marbles haven’t knocked together yet. Unsure whether it’s the costume or how she’s presented, but she gives like, Batgirl energy? Also, girlfailure lmao also didn’t expect that to come up. Oh! And the change of the comics being in-comic canon, I almost stamped my Al Ewing punchcard Fun watch as always I give a solid 4 convoluted storylines out of 5

Myles riley

Buzz just falling upward is insane haha.

Deepwood

One of my favorite thing about the fact that comics are so diverse in style, history, and quality, is that so many people discovered so many characters is so many ways. I love discovering characters through other characters stories and I am curious every time you post a video about a really obscure character, (especially ones like sleepwalker) how YOU specifically discovered that. It'd be interesting if you put a small blurb at the beginning or end of these types of videos where you tell us how you personally discovered them and came to love or hate them.

Kestron

No, no we didn't think it looked like a guy dog version of Hellcat, we thought it looked like a dog version of Batman 😂

Matthew Drew

Looking for team up with merry Marvelite

Evan Schwartz

It took me a while to watch this video bc Patsy Walker as a character is rlly personal to me and like. Yk how autisticslly sometimes it's rlly painful to hear someone else talk abt your THING even if they're like objectively really educated and correct about it cause your own personal interpetstion of this art is so specific and meaningful to you that it's like. Uncomfortable. I love patsy walker so much she means everything to me child stardom fucks you up. She was so young and her life already felt like it was so full and like the way her story ended wasn't what was promised to her and he has to fight to understand that adulthood is so much different than the incredible whirlwind that youth is it's such a beautiful way to spin all this history ughghhhh I love patsy walker she's me

Al

Going from superheroes to mutants in terms of enjoyment in Marvel stuff has been a trip. I think I'm finding great interest and honest delight in the everyday jobs. The hero or powered person having a day job or nightlife. Punching bad guys and shooting a movie or being an author writing about your adventures.
