It's not like it would be permeant anyway, if Jaune had really asked Yatsu to wipe his memories away, Yatsuhasi's Semblance can only wipe away unimportant short-term memories, while important long-term memories are only wiped away temporarily, like having a short version of amnesia. Also, I hope Team CFVY also told Jaune and the girls about Jax's sisters Gillan, since her Semblance is the most problematic and Jaune would probably be the only one who's best to counter her. Also, I thought Team CFVY would already know about the Relics? Cause Ruby mentioned them as well as the Maidens and Salem in her broadcast and that Goodwitch and Theodore could confirm what she said, with Raven and Winter being proof for example, speaking of which where is Raven? I thought Team RWBY, especially Yang would have at least talked to her at some point? Anyway, it's good to see Ruby, Weiss and Jaune hanging out with Team CFVY again after what happened at Beacon and all the shit they have been through.

Yeah, in the show Ruby sort of just says, "I know the idea of maidens and relics sounds crazy," without any sort of context before or after, and then just says Goodwitch and Theordore could confirm like you said. I don't know if part of her speech is missing in the episode since it's focusing on Penny right beforehand and we don't get it hear it, but it's kinda odd. I probably should have made it clear that at the very least, the relics weren't mentioned in the broadcast as a deviation from canon. A small one. As for the memory wipe, yeah. Jaune doesn't know that it wouldn't work very well for him.
