Howdy. Here is the story that will be replacing Semblance of Emotion for the next 6 weeks and when Semblance of Emotion comes back, will continue afterwards until I run out of chapters to post. This story has much darker themes than I usually write, so just a fair warning. It won't be for everyone. The general premise is that the Faunus Rights Revolution fails, and things become much worse for them as a result.

Me personally I'm into the Grimm and gritty at times and this first chapter sets the mood just right. Immediately I can sympathize with Kali and the faunus buuut my inner demon is happy to see someone having the chance to fill his home with faunus bunnies. It's a similar pattern from what I read in Gate, a group of notfurries getting enslaved by a human empire and struggle to survive. Looking forward to see Jaune getting to know Kali and Blake here.

Lol I just saw the change of name and was like that makes sense as I thought that what is what meant to be until I changed when I read the first chapter I was like, "Ohhh! It's called Arc's Decent because everyone else is basically garbage and he's the only decent human." Kinda like the true good Samaritan vibe I guess
