Looking forward to season 2! Now is when it really starts getting good. A lot of people come into the show knowing that Garnet is a fusion so it's really neat that you've managed to avoid spoilers! I love hearing the theories but never want to comment on any specific ones in case it gives something away to do so.

Fun lil Easter egg, if you pause in Fusion Cuisine during Alexandrite unfusing you can briefly see Sapphire and Ruby holding hands before Garnet reforms. You really have to pause at the right moment to see it so pretty much no one sees it the first watch around. (That's the episode when the gems all fuse to go to dinner with Connie's parents.)

Yeah it took me a few rewatches to pick up on that, the "ah, don't look at me!" is definitely her panicking that the surprise is ruined and blurting out the first thing that comes to mind lol.

The reason Garnet was poofed on the beach is cause she couldnt predict the “new gem tech” Lapis mentioned. Now that she knows she can use her future vision in their fight!

I’m very glad you weren’t spoiled about Garnet!! When I first watched the show, I knew about the existence of Ruby and Sapphire, BUT I didn’t know they were what made Garnet so I was still totally shocked

dude ur so smart, predicting everything before it happens haha. someones got future vision ;) So happy youre liking the show! its one of my favourites by far. Also the creator, Rebecca Sugar is a bi and non-binary person and obviously there are lots of characters and relationships that touch on queer aspects. Unfortunately, Cartoon Network was pretty against queer representation so she was forced to be vague with the relationships and characters. Later on in the show CN is less shitty about it, so the writing is more clearly queer (queerly queer?) :)
