Dev Report #3 – Backgrounds Rework! (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

First off—thank you all for the amazing response to v0.1.2! We’re really happy you enjoyed the update, and your feedback keeps pushing us to make the game even better. 💖

We’re excited to announce that we’ve brought on a new background artist to help us breathe even more life into the world! 🖼️✨

This way, Dove can focus on character art without issue!

For the next update, we’re focusing on having great backgrounds—aiming for more detail, atmosphere, and consistency throughout the game.

With the upcoming city location being a major part of the next version we’re thrilled with how it's shaping up. Here's a peek:

The plan moving forward is for our new artist to handle new locations and gradually rework older backgrounds to bring everything up to the same level of polish.
