Here’s another oldie but goldie. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find the pencil scan, but everything else is here: the ink scan, the PSD )with all the layers still unflattened), and of course the high-resolution JPEG.

Uff, looking at this illustration now really brings me back. This one was definitely drawn before Witch Trainer and most likely before Magic Shop as well. Back in the day, I had very little income but a lot of freedom. Coming up with these “funny” situations and then drawing them meticulously was always a lot of fun. #^_^#

Thanks a lot for sharing this one. Even after many years, the quality is still very strong. What I really notice in your older works is how carefully you build the scene. The arch, the crowd in the hallway, the difference between the shadows and the warm light from the torches, it could looks fun and simple at first, but it is actually very well planned (as always). Having the layered PSD is also very interesting. It shows how much work and structure there is behind what looks like a "funny" drawing. Also… somewhere in the wizarding world, an ethics committee is probably still debating those 50 points...

One day I need to put aside the time to read the books, but through your work I think I understand the whole Parry Hotter story, featuring lots of that which cannot be named :) Love to see these great works from the past.
