421 - No Gaming News. (Patreon)

HELLO there, dear bros! It’s Monday, and that can only mean one thing! That’s right — one thing only! Universally in our galaxy, Monday means only one thing: MONDAY POSTY FROM AKABUR!

IT HURTS ME TO SAY THIS, but I have no gaming news for you. Yes, I know how much everyone was waiting for me to gush over some old obscure game that I run on an emulator again — I know. But this was a busy week. My deepest apologies. I promise to do better next week.

BUT CHECK THIS OUT! I found a website run by some guy who collects all those old internet buttons! How cool is that? You open the page and it's filled to the brim with old-school animated goodness. You can find it here: https://lattice9.net/buttons

OBLIGATORY AI SLOP. Mr. Lazare sent me this fun little comic a few days ago, and it made me laugh so hard I think I cried a little :( And of course, I couldn’t resist sharing it with you all. ^_^ Oh, and while we’re on the topic of AI slop, in the attachment you can find a high-resolution version of that Genie-getting-Lola-drunk pic from the cover illustration of this post.

THE SHOP. I added a new item to the gallery/shop. It’s another illustration from my Parry Hotter series. As with all the other shop items, you can check it out “for free” if you’re on the Supporter PLUS tier or higher. Thank you for your support, bros. o7

THE WORK. A few days ago, I needed to draw a female hand holding a cylindrical object, so this was the perfect chance to use my “drawing hands” reference book that I ordered from Japan several months ago. I’m happy to report that it was very helpful and the money was well spent. ^^

THE WORK (2). The hand in question belongs to the waitress who works at the café you sometimes take the skater girl to on dates. The waitress herself is represented by a black silhouette, but depending on your choices, her hand shows up in one of the CGs — and for that, I needed to draw it.

AND THAT IS ALL I have to say for this week's Monday Post. Thank you for showing up to check up on me. Thank you for your patience and support, cherished bros, and I will see you all next Monday. Laterz.-Aka-
