I always thought the drums in this track were really awkward and hard to follow the rhythm. I feel like it would sound better if you swapped the Snare Drum and Kick Drum around.

I've attached an alternative version, with the Kick and Snares swapped, what do you think?

What made you want to revisit the music from Spinball to give it the SNES treatment? Admittedly it has been several years since Spinball MINDF***!, and those were only Genesis remixes, none of them SNES, but it does seem a bit out of the blue you would choose to remix Spinball's music again (if only some of it). Did it come up in a conversation lately, or perhaps the topic of pinball video games in general? Or maybe games with music that is a mixed bag?

Hey, Ive been meaning to revisit this OST for a while, those mindF mixes are so old, and the only other recent ones I have done are Toxic Caves CPS2, and Options Menu SNES.

Nope.. Times are different now, i used to rely on midi files from vgmusic. Com. Now I'm using ones directly ripped from the games for maximum accuracy

Great instrument choice. I miss the "GO!" vocals, but at least the boss isn't screaming at me.

Yeah, this rhythm is tough to follow, this is 4/4 time, right? Feels like they're emphasizing the 3rd beat. Personally I like the swapped version more. You could release 2 videos and continue the "mindfuck album" :)

Yep its definately 4/4. Its almost as if Howard Drossin used the wrong samples by accident and coupdnt be bothered to correct it/didnt realise until post release. I've noticed something similar in the Genesis port of Lemmings, you cna hear the psg channels going severly out of tune in some of the songs(and it does it on real hardware too)
