Well it's feels like it's been a minute since we got to go behind the cam with some of our favorites! Today, it's In the Soop Behind 3 & 4!

Boy did we miss this show and the ping pong, the fishing and THE FOOD! 🤣 We even work on our Korean a bit today. Excited for episode 5!

Hope you enjoy today's reaction and the rest of the week!

Hi CCW! Been a primo here on patreon from almost the beginning and i've been waiiiiitiiiiiing for someone to recommend the BTS On Commentary Film: Dialogue to you guys for the longest time. A bit similar to the Coldplay collab My Universe docu, this one's an 18-minute docu on how the song On was made and i really do think that you'll love seeing the process and all the detail that went into it -- the concept, the marching band, the gospel background vocals, etc. Hope you'll check it out and enjoy it! 🫶 https://youtu.be/npfs6afvIhk?si=KHSpIeFbFSbEm9Zp

Ashlee

Loved this !! 🔥🔥🔥 can't wait for next week 🙌🏾

iamvixen

They left for the Bangbangcon Live, 2020 Festa event, then they came back to continue shooting the ITS. 😊

Teenie

that last one is one of my favorite suga moment, when I watched ITS for the first time I didn't know much about yoongi and this moment completely certified him as my bias

Chloe

Love that you guys are slowly learning Korean terms and food names!! I can imagine Summer learning some recipes in the future 😅

Ali

I love that you all are looking up the foods they are eating while you watch the episode.

Shreya

its not ha-tteok its ho-tteok guys

D

First, @CCW, loved the reaction, and miss your opening discussions. Do you realise most of the comments are about what you said and what you did? So please do bring a bit of the banter back, at least in short reactions. Second, episode 5 probably after 2 weeks 😟 , but we should celebrate Jimin's 29th and JHope's discharge ( yay, 15 more days). But really hope we finish at a stretch before Jin's birthday, these long breaks kill the chilling vacation vibe of ITS.

mis u jk

Thank you for your hard work Ccw< 33 333. ❤️

Guys they sell hotteok at Trader Joe’s!! Korean sweet cinnamon filled Korean pancakes.

Charlie

Hotteok is yummy. You can buy the frozen ones and pan fry them. But be patient, it takes quite a while for them to be cooked thoroughly. They might look nicely cooked on the outside after a while but the flour inside could be still raw. After they’re done, the brown sugar inside will be melted and they are extremely hot!

Kearyce Moore

I have seen packs of hottest, but I got something else that 😭

Randi

yeah i have no idea how Jin is being up so late but also up so early. like how

Cassidy

They’re sooo good! And vegan friendly! I put them in the air fryer 🤤

Kearyce Moore

I was waiting for that suga karaoke moment 😂👏🏽

KimSeok2ParkMinjeon⁷99

I'dk why I remember this seeing you guys "International Kpop Sensation Sunshine Rainbow Traditional USB hub shrimp BTS"🤣 💜 Hi CCW

jinjen227

also kimbap at trader Joes! <3

Rasha

I missed the banter so much

tomtom

Lol 😂😂😂I laughed a lot because hotteok and nurungji have different pronunciations of the translator. Ho-tteok, Noo-loo ng-ji << this is more similar to the pronunciation. Nurungji means rice that is pressed against the bottom of a pot after cooking it. In Korea, people boil Nurungji in water, or steam rice is made into Nurungji. Taehyung made was to sprinkle steam rice with a little water in a pan without anything on it, spread the rice, dissipate the moisture, bake it, and eat it with sugar. You can probably buy it at a Korean mart too, if you think it's too hard, I recommend cutting it into bite-sized pieces, frying it in an oily pan, and sprinkling it with sugar. In the past, my grandmother used to do that as a snack.☺️

claudia

Yoongi falling to the ground as his voice cracked is one of my favorite moments of him. Really shows how he is behind all that calmness and quietness.

MLS

I just rewatched this, now. Excellent video. The power of music!

rosetta singer

Panjeon scallion is my favorite from Trader Joe’s. Yumm

Daijah

Wait until you watch the next season jimin was really staying up late😭

Emily Sanchez

They sale the hotteok ingredients together in a bag where you can make them from scratch and they are very delicious and on soop season 2 one of the guys show eating it with ice cream it’s so good. They have it on the BTS recipe book I only have one of the books I am waiting for the second one. They have great recipes some from in the soop

chimm

now i'm craving for some freshly cooked hotteok 🤤😩

Lisa Thomas Le

They actually sell Hotteok at Trader Joe's right now!! If that's closer maybe you could get that.

Maya

omgg I love hotteok - I've made it using Maangchi's recipe (you can search up "Maangchi hotteok" online)! the one I like is the sweet version that's filled with brown sugar and walnuts and the filling melts into a syrup that's so yummy

Rokm_

In the Soop and Are you Sure?! are definitely the type of shows you need to be eating something while watching. It’s either that or become extra hungry every episode lol. Can’t wait until you meet Rock Bison 😆 Thanks for the reaction.

Maya

whoever gave you guys the advice to look up the things/foods you don't know, bless their soul LOL. it's endearing to see you guys wanting to learn more about korea and their culture and then practice saying the words too (even though the translator pronunciations are a little off sometimes haha)!

Angie

they're used to it, i mean they would barely sleep during comebacks so it might just be natural for them. Jin seems like someone who'd rather be sleepy and have fun, while Jimin was using this time to catch up on sleep mostly lol

justsarah

Yoongi gets the zoomies!!! And then he chills for ten hours lol

justsarah

Also I think it's pronounced more like "hah-toke". The "eo" vowel is a singular syllable. Same sound when you say SEOKjin or HoSEOK.

Sara

Hotteok is very good. You can make it from scratch but you can also buy it sometimes at the grocery stores in the international isle. I ordered some mixture on Amazon myself for my 2nd attempt (first time I did from scratch but wanted to see if there was a difference from pre-made). It's great for a snack though keep in mind it is a desert so it's not exactly healthy with how much brown sugar is in it. Also, you can make variations of it for different fillings such as savory fillings to make it a more healthy snack instead of desert.

Keren Metz

Hotteok is so good esp.when topped with vanilla ice cream!!

Keren Metz

Yes…..Maangchi is one of the go-to sites for Korean recipes. I learned to cook japchae from her.

Keren Metz

Yes, might have to get some myself. We finally have a place here in Vegas that sells them.

minicookieot7

The song at 26:42 is one of the ones they were belting out in the car during Bon Voyage S4 that's why it sounds familiar :)

Honey 0613

Maybe someone has already mentioned it, but they had hotteok at Trader Joe's again! It comes in the fall and is soooo good. TJ actually has some pretty decent Korean food. They have pajeon, tteokbokki, and bulgogi. You can also get kimbap if they aren't sold out. Definitely recommend you guys do a mukbang!

Honey 0613

It's pronounced hoe-tduhk

Bulletproof Girl

Thank you guys for finally reacting to this. This is the main reason I renewed my subscription. On your next reactions, can you turn the volume up a notch of what you're watching please? Coz the sound is too low and I can't turn the volume for as much as I want because your voices would be too loud. Maybe you and the video you are reacting to could have the same volume.

Seneca

Was missing the banter/tangents dearly as well! But I think these were recorded when a few people were complaining "no more banter". But now that CCW knows most of us enjoy it, they'll probably adjust in future recordings.

D

O, if that's the case, then that's good.

I’m Tired

Do you know the name of it? really like it

minicookieot7

Yep it’s 하늘을 달리다 by 발라드가수들

Shalia

yup… i recently tried it 😋

OhMai

It’s pronounced (ho-tuck) it’s usually filled with red bean

Annmarie

So excited for the second half of the episodes they are sooooo good! 💜💜💜 I especially love episodes 5&6!

Lindy

The Lajibolala and Don't Wake me Up songs from JiminKKK they made me laugh so much....

Anny_ lokah

26:02 i love Suga so much xDDDD

TheEmpurpler⁷

Love seeing yall looking up what the Korean food is because it shows a genuine desire to learn about their lives & Korean culture. P.S. the soda Chilsung has the 1st syllable chil which also means the number 7 in Korean - that's why the guys were going around saying ILsung (1 sung), EEsung (2 sung) up to CHILsung for the 7th member. (& esp funny when Jin was the 3rd one bc number 3 is SAM in Korean so he should say SAMsung but that's also the name of the phone brand so he held up his phone 😆)
