Hey VIP Primos!

Welcome back to another episode of In The Soop. Today it's Ep 7! A penultimate episode that brings up some feelings on that word. 🤣 We are wired off halloween candy and energy drinks over here which makes for an extra fun episode.

The guys are still cooking and painting. Oh and the singing. And we've never been so entertained by these things. Another great episode of In The Soop in the books and a finished painting too!

I think most in the south don’t deep fry an entire bird, now if it’s chopped up then for sure. Ik turkey legs are a big thing especially now during fair season.

So I'm not a professional either but I've seen how the professional cooks do it in S Korea: They should've at least cut the whole chicken in half; like butterfly...if they wanted to keep it whole. Keep the oil not so hot (not add more firewood to the heat...Yoongi, i saw u lol) then fry them. I've seen cooks fry them 1st round, take them out and fry them again for that extra crispy. Oh well, at least it was some good entertainment 😅😅

They literally “cooked” whole ass chickens over a fire and thought it would be a good idea😂+ the way they were talking about opening a fried chicken restaurant💀 like leave that to other people😭😭😭 They had me screaming when i watched this episode for the first time

I hope you guys watch In the Soop Friendcation (it’s a friendship show with V and his Wooga Family- Park Seojoon, Peakboy, Park Hyungsik, and Choi Wooshik) & there are only 4 episodes! After Friendcation V did another show with Seojoon and Wooshik (and Lee Seojin and Jung Yumi) called Jinny’s kitchen which is also super fun and amazing to watch! 💜

that’s cause in the west we don’t actually cook the entire bird, but rather sections of it. at least not for chicken, i’ve seen turkeys cooked whole. but they were making fried chicken so their process was confusing for them culturally.

Yeah I would say Suga and JK are the ones that are known as the 'handy men' in the group. Suga just does stuff quietly and has a lot of knowledge on things so does JK but in a different way, he's usually the member they call when they need help with things because they know he knows how to do it

you can fry all chicken but the oil must not get too hot and the batter must be thinner, when they was making the batter was too thick and the oil is too hot that is because it was raw inside

for us in america a 🔫 is probably the first thing we would think of but i doubt jungkook thought of that when he heard the fireworks 😭 their little chicken situation was a journeeyyy but korean fried chicken is soooo good, truly some of the best i’ve tried if i’m being honest. i forgot how much i loved this episode, hobi was so cute w his painting 🥹 a much needed watch 🙃

Suga is a handyman. If I'm not mistaken he worked with his dad on apartment renovations. The first painting of Jungkook is hanging in his brother's apartment, and you'll see the second one, but I won't spoil it.

I love watching you guys see ITS for the first time, it's one of my comfort shows, I hope you react to season 2 sometime soon when you have the chance, it's just as good (if not better) just as chaotic and wholesome anyway.😄☺️ BTW..I make the sauce Jungkook made in this episode all the time as a dipping sauce, it's delicious...I actually found a recipe for it before I even watched ITS and when Jungkook made it I realised it was the same sauce, to make it you need: Gochujang, Sugar, honey, soy sauce, ketchup and garlic. It's best when it's hot as a dipping sauce or a sauce to cover fried chicken, it's both sweet and spicy. 🤤

If ya’ll try the tuna mayo rice, I recommend getting kewpie mayo for maximum enjoyment. I add cucumbers and avocado and green onions to mine. I’ll add some siracha too if I want it spicy. And I use seaweed sheets to scoop the mixture.

LOL!!! In their defense, there are some chicken shops in Korea that fry whole chickens as well as chicken pieces. I believe J-hope was watchimg some videos of whole chicken being fried. But they were not able to control the oil temperature of the cauldron and their batter was too thick. I still love that they tried and it makes for a really fun episode!

RM is so funny. As Jin has said in the past, when he looks at Joon, he realizes that God is fair. RM is so full of talent and so intelligent but yet clumsy and hopeless at times. But I love how the members assist and help Joon when he breaks things.

I know exactly what kind of punch that is. It's pretty much just sprite and sherbet in it. Typically rainbow sherbet. Some people add like strawberries or some kind of fruit. Others add pineapple juice or orange juice. But it's usually just sherbet with soda poured over the top. God, I used to LOVE when people had sherbet punch at parties.

One of my favorite moments from the Fried chicken night is how it started with jin saying he's feeling too lazy to cook and then later saying i can do that when hobi started suggesting what to make for dinner. These little acts of service are what sets bangtan apart from anyone I've ever seen and they make me want to be better with my irl relationships
