UPDATE - Audio has been fixed! Hey Primos!

We know it's April Fools but this is no joke, TODAY we are checking out Studio Notes (Early Access). So much has been coming out but we are glad we took the time to watch this one. This was highly recommended before jumping into the documentary, and with the documentary around the corner we didn't want to waste any time. We can't wait to hear their thoughts on this whole album process so let's hop in....

We LOVED feeling like we were a part of their conversation. This definitely sets us up for the documentary and we almost had some spoilers! 😅 Enjoyed hearing how each member felt about the album as a whole and each individual song. Plus we learned so much about their creative process and seeing how they agreed on things.

We're definitely glad we watched this and there is still so much more to get to! But this was a great segue into Friday's show so be sure to check that out! It's a masterpiece...

Stay tuned!

Loved it!!!! I had not seen this yet. The members are so great to mix serious in depht conversarions but also keep it light and funny. I am glad that they mentioned Jin's importance, because I felt that he needs that a bit. I am sure they also express their graditute behind the scenes, but it is also important to do that on screen. I also liked how you explained the weight Jin carried while the members were serving 💜. I am looking forward to your reaction to the documentary.

Valentina

9 months…well they made a baby 🤓 They actually reborn 😏

Im just glad that we got our guys an all kill with this album. I said this to somebody 2 days ago, that this bts documentary is showing us what they talked to us on vlive/weverse throughout the years about when it comes to working on the albums and decisions within song camps along with their teamwork in the studio.

seven

This is BTS’ first full group comeback in 4 years, honestly, the company should’ve waited for him and adjust the dates. It’s so sad to see Jin as the only member without credits especially when he clearly could’ve contributed more. I mean, it’s not like there was a strict deadline since they were finally done with their military duties, Jin even said he was so stressed trying to figure out where he could fit in and it just made me so sad.

Steph K

Jin got discharged from the army, took a nap, and then held a whole damn concert. Then he did the same thing coming off his tour and heading straight to LA. I firmly believe that this comeback wouldn't have been nearly as successful without Jin holding it all down.

Shreya

Whatever the circumstances were it’s their decision and we should respect it have you guys not watched the namjoon live where he was so angry bcz everyone online was bashing them for taking so long to release an album after their discharge they already had many plans in place and also immense pressure to be back with album as fast as possible I think Jin needed to be a bit laid back cause he was working for almost 2 years continuously at that point so even if they took some time for him he still would have to work again which is putting more pressure on him if he’s happy taking a backseat for an album I think it’s his decision and we shouldn’t keep questioning it just bcz he isn’t in credits doesn’t mean it was any less stressful he still had to sing and dance

Shreya

They always did lives like these whenever an album is released talking about the album process it’s called comeback lives and it would be nic if in future you watched the, all cause it explains a lot about their previous albums just like this video

BabyDoll

The comeback would have STILL been VERY Successful. You can talk about Jin "holding it down" without unnecessary statements. This is NOT their First comeback that was also hugely successful and Jin didn't hold anything down for those ones to be successful. Let's not be overly dramatic with these narratives.

I mean they had a deadline because the tour was probably already planned. To reserve a stadium you need to book it way in advance like sometimes even 2 years. In the documentary they even said their release was already sheduled for March when they started working on the album (probably partially because of the tourstart) because they wanted to come back as fast as possible. Jin even said that he planned his solotour on short notice, like on a whim (that's the reason he got some weird venues). Oh and Jin said in the docu that he was worried but when he arrived he knew right away what to do by just looking into the members eyes since they've been together for so long. Also it's not like he didn't do anything for the album just because he has no writing credit. He still helped make decisions about the songs if you watch their docu, studio noted live and other content. I think you shouldn't infantilize the members so much they can make their own decisions as we see, again, in their content. Jin even asked on Weverse to please listen to and love their album a lot.

BabyDoll

What did Abby mean by saying that Jungkook shouldn't hold the talks but instead Tae should talk because it will be short and end quicker when did Jungkook become so talkative for Abby to say that? Does it mean she still doesn't know them well after 3yrs of reaction or maybe I don't understand what she meant. Can Someone explain.

✨

She did not mean it in a negative way. Her main bias is literally jk. I think what she meant was that tae always keeps his lives short & sweet, he's a man of few words when compared to others. Jk does super long lives. And can you not leave weird comments (like the one about jin).

Steph K

How do the circumstances of the other comebacks compare at all to this one? And I’m not saying anything that the members themselves haven’t said about Jin’s contributions over their time off. What an odd comment to take issue with.

✨

this is so unnecessary and odd. stop trying to discredit jin when the other members have said it themselves.

Shreya

Tbh many people keep saying since it has English lyrics and sounds that are Norse universal how can it be Korean and I think it’s very western way of looking at things that are Asian , if you actually look at the Korea lyrics they used soooo MANY Korean references that unless you deep dive you’ll not get it as a non Korean the album being titled arirang made people thing it’ll sound like Korean sounds like idol but that’s not what bts want they wanted to express the feeling of arirang in their whole album they wanted to tell us what they think makes them Korean instead of some superficial elements that’s why they talked about Racism in aliens and many other topics and I think many Koreans totally get why it’s called arirang without the album having many Korean sounds bcz it’s the feeling the songs invoke in us are what they think is Korean

Steph K

The guys were saying they didn't want the live to go long. Abby said Jungkook shouldn't lead it then and Tae should instead. Jungkook is known for doing long lives. Tae is known for doing short lives.

Shreya

The members were not credited as much as producers but they are all in there credited as composers and writers so obviously they were heavily involved

LoriG

I know Jin played a huge part in keeping the connection with ARMY while the others finished up their service. Then his tour came about and conflicted with the LA camp. I understand they were all anxious to get going in the album and I know they had March 20th first day of spring for that reason. I just hate that Jin is the only one without a writing credit. He doesn’t have a lot to say in the interviews when they talk about the credits. BUT he did shine in EVERY single with his glorious vocals!! 🥰💜🤌

Latkat

It seems like she knows them better then you 🙈. Jungkook is known for his long lives and Taehyung for his very short lives 😁. I think you know about this but you just misunderstood Abby I guess.

LoriG

Their other comebacks were not after a 4 year absence as a group! No one had to keep ARMY entertained for those. Jin played a huge roll and gained more fans by everything he did since being discharged.

ana

Jungkook is known for his long lives where its hours long and tae goes lives for about 10 mins and ends it

Laura Randy

This isn't a big deal, she is refering to the fact that Tae's weverse lives are always super quick and Jungkook's are usually longer. It'sjust a joke nothing to be pressed about.

Jehza

Always loved watching with ya'll! love your reactions

Shreya

At the end you guys were talking about jimin fist bumped Jin saying I did you part you thought it’s about singing but no they weretalking about jimin composing and writing that part both v and jimin are credited in that song , it’s probably v brain child but yeah jimin worked on it too

nina

actually it’s because there was a strict deadline 😭 they had committed to the spring release date so they hit the ground running while jin was still on tour. it’s due to this time constraint that it caused so much stress and they talk about that here and we see it in the documentary. they wanted to hurry back and unfortunately it meant rushing some stuff. but the members have been nothing but vocal about jin’s importance to the group despite that and army also understand the situation. at the end of the day they’re all proud of the album and it’s gonna go down in history as their biggest album yet! but hopefully this also serves as a learning experience for them that they don’t have to stress over putting out music cuz army will ALWAYS wait for them! 💜

minicookieot7

I’m curious CCW - what is everyone’s top 3 songs now that you’ve had a week with the album?? Mine keep changing. I would love if you could go on a tangent about it during your next recording day!

ozziepupreid

Yeah, Jimin wrote the bridge for Into the Sun (Jin's part, which was beautiful). There's also a good interview DIPLO just did (one of the writers for that song) that goes into more detail about how it was made. Diplo shared that when they started working on the song, it was just Jimin singing over a guitar line with distortion, and they immediately felt like it was perfect and could be the hook. He added that Jimin, V and the team helped shape what the song would be about, and that the whole track came together incredibly fast, in about 20 minutes! Really wish we got more details like this from the documentary.

minicookieot7

I love that your 4 year old is the “do you know BTS” Jin of your group 🤣🤣

Relyn Morong

Watched twice. The cave version and this fixed audio one

RJyoongi

What part of OP's comment was infantilizing the members 🤨

RJyoongi

Hope you all watch the promotion videos the members have been doing individually. The one Jimin did was hilarious and it's not long it's only 15 minutes

Dani

2.0 is my favorite song. I still can’t believe it was on the verge of being cut

D

CCW, I used to feel bad for you guys because you can't watch to keep the reaction genuine. But now I feel you guys are so lucky to watch these for the first time.

TheEmpurpler⁷

My fav songs as soon as i listened to it were (in order): 1 merry go round 2 into the sun 3 like animals But now, having seen them perform like animals & seeing Jin & Tae do their vocals (siren jin!), like animals is creeping up to #2 (I'm embarrassed/ashamed to admit, I thought that was an instrumental sound or backup vocal when I first heard the track 🫣) P.S. 2.0 was lower on the list but shot way up after seeing their live performance & choreo, plus that MV! 😆

BabyDoll

I'm not pressed. I asked a question and you explained. I wanted to know the contexts she meant, didn't know it's because of Jk's Lives.

BabyDoll

You wish! I asked a question and the replies made me understand the context she meant because i didn't know she meant Jk's weverse lives but here you are being rude and pressed over a question. Pls unclench!

Tonee

Super late to the party but so glad to be a new subscriber! Honestly, it’s totally okay that these lives take a bit longer. I actually prefer waiting for the fixed subs and better shots (especially during the Netflix Comeback Live) it makes the experience so much more immersive. I’ve already rewatched the Netflix comeback 3-4 times just to catch all the real-time edits.
