PRIMOS!

We have been waiting all week to release this one, it's BTS The Return Netflix Documentary! The trailer alone had us in tears and we've been looking forward to this one, well since we watched the trailer. We are glad we watched Studio Notes first because they referenced this one A LOT. It's officially come back season guys! Let's get into it because we can't wait any longer.

We know we say this a lot but this is our FAVORITE documentary to date and we really mean it! Such a great documentary that really showcases who they are, what they've been through, and who they are now. This is as raw as we have seen them. Who else cried? We really are feeling at a loss for words today. All we know is we've never been so proud to call ourselves Army and get to be along on this ride. Plus we checked the mail today and you guys get to open it with us! 😊 What a day. Thanks for watching along with us.

Stop by and say hi in the comments.

leez mbon

Hello, I didn't watch the video yet, I was waiting for you.

Appapachi

Can't wait to watch this!

Geev

I rewatched many times and still got teary eyes 🥺

Mirriamh

Hi Ccw how have you been

Chloe

That Villas $8k per night

Yellow

Damn😭😭

Kearyce Moore

I love this documentary so much and what rm said during every album review live he has done, is what they are showing in it. Idc how much they gave us to see. When dynamite came out i loved it, but me as army had the exact same thought rm said in one of the interviews during 2020/2021 that they were not sure about the song because it's not part of bts identity. This army loves this album and also in my top 3 bts albums

nina

this is my favorite documentary they’ve done so far 😭 it’s shot so beautifully and i love that we get to see the highs and lows they dealt with while making this record 🥺 it gives you a greater appreciation of how much they poured into this comeback and it definitely paid off!! i think it’s their best album yet!! 💜 AND OMG THE NEW ARMY BOMB AT THE END?? LOVE IT!! 😍

nina

it’s sad that they felt that they had to rush the comeback but at the same time they really wanted to get back together as a group and in front of army ASAP!! so i’ll forever be grateful and appreciative of everything bts do for us 🥹💜

Geev

Before listening new hidden track "come over", please u need to listen the old hidden tracks, on love your self album: sea & on 2 cool 4 skool:path, hidden tracks are so special betwen bts & armys 🥺

Abiha

They’ve already listened to sea it’s in their reactions on Patreon

Chloe

Abby jamming 👌🏻💯

Shreya

Also the reasons rm and v were saying are so relatable as an Asian bcz with so many of Asian countries having many traditional things that are far too big with history and the people sometimes using these elements as a singer or actor or anyone with influence will be very jarring cause there is already so much meaning to it that people are very well attached too and with v also saying it might feel like using patriotism in a cringey way is also very valid but I think bts did a very cool job in incorporating these things without having to hurt peoples sentiments

yesi ʕ ᵔⰙᵔ⠕ʔ

ughhh loved it. so glad we got to see these raw and authentic sides of the tannies

Shreya

Suga playing that guitar in all the studio shots was so iconic

Marilyn

Finally!!!💜💜💜

Rut Muñoz

After this documentary I come to the conclusion that RM loves this group so much that it is able to carry and carry all the fears, pretions, all the negative emotions so that its colleagues have only happiness or the least possible fears, on the other hand nicol omg hybe needs to get rid of it is a problem I understand its point but to say that Black swan or On are "failures" or that they are not "Attractive" ? girl that happens to you ?! this documentary made me cry, made me laugh but also me made us understand how hard BTS works to give us quality work and with a message that transients how easy or popular we love BTS 💜

Ayys

We are getting so much content after 4 years it makes me so happy BTS is back everybodyyyyy

Ayys

Summer watching the whole documentary with teary eyes 🥹

Angelina Turaliyeva

for me it felt so shooort, and i wanted more, like 2-3eps🤣😭 the best documentary💜

Alice Smith

I really hope the armys who are always saying "i wish they had more English in the songs and jk in his vlives. That you saw how they struggle with English. 95% of army started with their Korean songs. Butter armys started with English songs and expect them to always sing English. How about you learn Korean and sing their Korean songs. I don't know Korean but I wouldn't try to change who they are just because l don't understand Korean . Just my opinion l get frustrated when people are always trying to change them to their narrative. Im glad l got this off my chest. And any army know the song so I don't think they need to worry that nobody will know the song.

Caitlyn

I don't know how many times I've rewatched this documentary haha. I have too many thoughts and feelings for this comment section. But I've been following CCW for so long that I immediately think about how each of them will react when I'M watching new BTS content haha.

mo εïз

after watching the docu seeing the album achievements and seeing how happy they look to be back together, performing and seeing army, it hits different 🥹 it’s been a long journey, so crazy to think about how long they’ve been active and how long it’s been since we saw them as a group

katie_belle⁷ ⟭⟬

The L.A. house they stayed in only accepts Airbnb bookings with a minimum of 30 days. Since they lived there for two months, the total rental cost came out to over $180,000. OKAY RICH KINGS

Boshii Foor

It's crazy how a seven men from south korea, first record arirang in the US, then many years later another seven men from south Korea in this generation went to US to record arirang again..wow

Sebangtaynnn0713

The number of times I had to repeat Gabriel flinching with the sight of Jin getting his hair cut for the military. Hahahah. It's always the quiet ones. 🤣

Ayys

I mean the company earns millions even billions thanks to bts, they should put the best for them 😎

Ayys

Jin left early to attend the wedding of his manager

AnNaSi

SUGA - my new Netflix profile Pic 😅

Kkatherine.97

I noticed the subtitles are different from when I watched it.

Nikita

This is also my favorite documentary by far.

Charlotte Helerich Sy Pili

Here’s how I’d summarize their reaction.. I think these lines say it all. Well done, guys! I absolutely loved your reactions. "I could punch a wall!" "They're literally using every second of their trip to work." — @Gabriel 2026 "My heart can't take this!" "Who chose this music because I'm emotional?" — @Abigail CCW 2026 "My eyes are watery!" "How your respect just grows for RM." — @Summer ☀💛 2026 "You like to see them let loose a little bit, you know?" "He made it! All you gotta do is believe it." — @Daniel CCW 2026

Samantha Alves

A cant turn off the caption on this video it is blocking the Netflix caption

Dthar

i enjoyed this video so much

Kearyce Moore

You said the words right out of my mouth

Anija

Wdym?

jinjen227

thank you for watching, enjoying and appreciating!!! truly a wonderful doc which highlights their hard work, but also their love for each other. it shows how special and unique BTS team members are and how once in a lifetime they are. (ps you should put some CCW logo on your army bomb somehow ^_^)

jinjen227

there were translation differences between the cc version and the non-cc English captions - I don't know for sure, but wonder if it is bc the cc version translates English and descriptions too, if they had to adapt for time or understanding.

T

I’ve been an ARMY since 2014 and this documentary made me feel so overwhelmed! There’s so many call back moments to their youth where I’m remembering where I also was at that time and how I’ve grown with them and they are just so lovely and warm! If y’all ever have the time, a lyric breakdown reaction to Arirang would be pretty cool! Much love 💜

Fufu

this might be the first reaction where Hitmang Bang appears and they don't call him Doug 😂 is this new mature ccw 2.0? no more Doug jokes, only serious videos from now on

Fufu

they called him a MANAGER y'all I'm crine Doug has been demoted

borahae BTS

I watched this too many times and I could rewatch it again. Have you seen Bao Nguyen on the last part while he was recording or shooting their live session? :D

BabyDoll

Jungkook's part in Swim group recording went viral EVERYWHERE... TikTok, IG, Twitter, YouTube etc People were gagging at his VOCALS!!! The Documentary was good, I'd have liked to see of Jungkook recording some of his background vocals as he's credited on 13songs in the album. We could have seen more of his Layering and more recording of the other songs too but oh well...

Ida Wi

One of the reasons you guys are the only reactors I watch, is because your reactions are genuine - I mean who else starts watching stuff with "No one talk/say anything!", I was with Summer through this, tears in my eyes and nervous/stressed for the guys, feeling like they need a hug, Abby catches everything and her range of excitement is literally how we all react, you can literally see Daniel's emotions brimming over and how well you've gotten to know them is evident by the fact he says something often followed seconds later by the guys saying the exact same thing, Gabriel's the gem, his serious expression and random bursts of "I wanna punch a wall" & getting excited about gym equipment or the most random things is so endearing. I hope you guys just continue to be yourselves and share this journey with us, and never feel you have to REACT in big caps (over-react) - Anyway, just wanted to say Thank you - rewatching content with you feels like I'm watching with friends.

Betty Suwan

Amazing reaction guys! 💜

monica

This documentary was so amazing, as was your reactions. Did it make anyone else want to just wrap Jimin up in protective blanket? He's just precious and I'm OT7.

PrettyJumpTree

I enjoyed this reaction. Appreciate Gabe’s one liner, “Did they give us more sauce?”

minicookieot7

I loved Gabriel’s “oh movie night for sure.” Yes I’m on my third rewatch it’s so good

SUGAAA

I think you should do Run Bts weeks soon because they gonna release RUN BTS 2.0😭🤚🏻

APOBANGPO7

I know!! For all the work he put in this album he could have had a little more screen time but oh well.. maybe they’ll release more footage from LA later on.

BZ

Ahh yes overall the documentary is so well put together but some members especially JK had very little screen time and all the stories about him working on some of the songs was not there! Hoping for bangtans own content to have more insights!

CatJ

How I understood it was she was referencing On and Black Swan as songs whose lyrics were more relatable to BTS members but still resonated well with fans, because of V’s worries about lyrics being only relatable to them.

Cycology SPIN and MORE

Did anyone else get a dubbed version when the watched on Netflix?! At first it was weird but it was kinda nice - you could understand so much easier what they were saying

CatJ

I loved watching this with you guys! It’s such a good film and yes I want more “episodes” too!! I hope the people who were “disappointed” with this album because “it isn’t BTS” or “too much English so not Korean enough” watch this and eat their words because they put everything into this album. And who is anyone to say if someone is “enough” of anything or question if the album is BTS when they themselves say its the most them they have been. My heart goes out to them for all the pressure. I am just grateful they are back

Kelly Melvin

It is recommended to watch with English subtitles as the English [cc] are not as accurate

Ana Paula

I know there's a lot of content out there, and that people prefer content from all seven of them, but if you can watch their appearances on the shows that are coming out now, where they're promoting the album, they're really good and fun. And they've been on so many, I'm loving it so much!

JennyV

Awesome documentary 👏

Cycology SPIN and MORE

I've watched this twice already but it's just better with y'all!!!💜💜💜💜

Ida Wi

Oh yes, you are correct, will edit my reply - just that the line that Nicole said about "initially" seemed not relatable was translated as just not relatable here so I got confused - thanks for the correction

DDayTokki

will you guys do the interview with EPIK HIGH of suga and rm? the bad words are cut out and its a good way to know more about the members since they talked so comfortable :)!

Daydream⁷

Thank you. I have watched this many times now and it is one of their best documentaries. Also from the perspective of the new ARMY, it shows a good portion of the rawness. I'm just grateful to see this much footage of them instead of complaining tiniest about something that wasn't enough. Also giving the members a camera to film themselves gave this film a more natural and authentic. The director did a good job! A very well done documentary

Kate🥸

Got patreon just for me to watch it with you guys😭😭😭

ozziepupreid

Jimin absolutely is a precious angel. 😇I want to put him in my pocket, like he did to us in that one live of his. 😂

Jehza

Great reaction CCW! ♥️

anju mariya sunil

I do not have anyone who watches and loves BTS. That’s why I love watching with you.

army.syaza

My 6th watch 🤣 So good. Still cried. That Swim recording at the end -🔥🔥

Nalisha Chetty

BTS: The Return isn’t just a documentary it’s a window into the hearts of seven people carrying the weight of the world while trying to find themselves. It shows BTS not as flawless icons, but as human beings navigating fear, doubt, and the pressures of returning to the global stage after time apart. What lingers most is the theme of change. They are no longer the same boys who started their journey; they have grown, stumbled, and emerged stronger both as artists and as individuals. You see it in the way they create, in the thoughtfulness they pour into every note, and in the courage it takes to face their own uncertainties while the eyes of millions watch. And through it all, there is their brotherhood fragile at times, yet unbreakable. Even in disagreement, there is understanding, honesty, and love. Their strength doesn’t come from perfection, but from the way they hold each other up, no matter how heavy the weight becomes. BTS: The Return is more than a story about music. It’s about resilience, identity, and the bravery of starting again. It’s a reminder that even those who shine brightest face darkness, and yet, through every challenge, they keep going together. Watching them, i can’t help but feel awe, respect, and a profound gratitude for the light they share in the world. 💜

Lilou Hamchaoui

btw they paid $8.500 per night for that house 😭 so would’ve been half a million dollars for the 2 months

Arla

I loved when Daniel said " Jin has been carrying the BTS name for so long" because that is 100% true. even the members have acknowledged that. How much Jin has done while almost everyone is still away serving - he carried and protected the BTS name on his back alone for the longest time. Even in the arirang notes videos the members especially Namjoon and Jimin acknowledged that. So it doesn't matter if Jin was part of the writing or whatsoever of this album because that's the beauty of BTS they don't count how much one member have done and compare it, they have roles to play and they have each other to lend a helping hand to support

D

Respect @Daniel for watching the credit roll 💜💜 My Jinkook ❤️, some people didn't like Wooga included, I loved it. The unboxing 🫰

Alice Smith

The funny thing is they were talking the whole beginning and so on.

Alice Smith

It was weird that Daniel really didnt notice or mention Suga playing the gutair. Well Summer was talking to him at the time. I was waiting for that part to see how Daniel and Gabe reacted to Suga, but at least our 'paying attention' Abby gave him credit. Thanks Abby.

Alice Smith

People keep telling them that there's several videos of bts watching themselves from back in the days, but l don't think they've watched any of them unless they are in a snippet from another video. Those would be good to watch now to see they have grown. I saw how excited ccw was to see them watching the old films. So maybe they could spend a day watching those.

Anna

You might have had the English(CC) captions on, which are the subtitles for the Dub. The ones they chose are more accurate to what is being said.

jada

Holyyy 🫠😵‍💫

Geórgia Cordeiro Dantas

This reaction shot up to one of my fave CCW videos ever. Thank you for the great reaction CCW. This documentary gets better every time I see it.

Wildflower

Hey guys! You should seriously react to BTS’s first-ever concert in Goyang — it’s literally the start of their new era 🔥 You can actually watch it online by getting tickets through Weverse, so it’d be perfect for a live reaction video.

Bam Yeontan

Loved rewatching it with you guys!

Emmy

Well that's dumb, Wooga have been V's best friends for the longest, they are a huge part of his normal life and keeping him grounded. I was excited to see them in the doc

Emmy

There are houses in Texas that are way nicer and have more space for that price, but everything in California is overpriced, you can't even get a grocery bag for free lol.

Lilou Hamchaoui

yep 😭 that’s a California thing for sure.. it’s so crazy

Celeste Perez

Ive been putting off watching the documentary because I didn't feel ready. I didn't think I would be able to watch them go through this process and not get so emotional, but im so glad you all put up a video so I could watch along. 💜

Tae

I didn't like arirang at first. I thought it was too expirimental and as RM said in the beginning, it felt like if u put different foods together. But when I watched the live comeback performance, I gained I whole new outlook on arirang. Now I like it, though admittedly the second part of the album is the best in my opinion 😭

Giovana Giovani

Esse documentario mostrou mais uma vez o quanto esses meninos são dedicados, talentosos e decididos a levar o melhor ao Army, ansiosa por encontra los no Brasil.

Bertha

Im so happy they’re back. Got introduced to BTS when I needed them and they’re back when I need them again 😭 they’ve been helping me go through some stuff with this comeback. Can’t wait to see them in August I’m going to be a WRECK in the concert 💜

Jessica

Hey y’all I hope you watch the members variety shows appearances especially rm and suga with epik high

Emmy

I'm an OG army, so Body to Body, Hooligan, 2.0, and Alien are easily my favorite songs on the album and will be the best live performances for the Arirang Tour. I think people who became fans later (during their Dynamite/ Butter era) will probably lean more towards the mellow songs.

Baby

Hi! There will be a vlog of the cousins' trip to Korea?

Clarissa Audria

guys im stresseddd, i cant access the discord and ive been disconected from the server a few times alreadyyy. tried to reconnect but its not workinggg

lachi molala

there really isn't any bad bts song except for on with sia. i love all the main tracks especially for live performances but really i gravitate towards the bside tracks specially the mellow ones all the time. something that i can listen to on repeat everyday and would never get tired of.

Yédidia Konan

Am I the only one who can't read the video? The beginning repeats in boucle and when I try to go at a later point, the screen becomes black.

Emmy

I actually agree but I am the opposite in that I listen to the mellow songs when the album is first released, but I listen to the hype songs regularly during workouts, studying etc. There are a few mellow songs that will always be in rotation like Magic Shop, Butterfly, and Crystal Snow.

imtachki

this documentary makes me SOOO EMOTIONAL! wow i'm just so proud of them, and so proud of arirang. we are SO lucky to have them

Joy

It was so good

anpam

I am watching this a little late because i didnt notice my membership expired.😭 Thank you CCW for another great video. You guys are my favorite reactors BY FAR. (And one of only 2 channels I am subscribed to in Patreon!). Can’t wait for you to finally watch BTS as a full group in concert! I love you!💜

Amo ver como Summer tiene una mirada de orgullo al ver a los chicos :´( lloroooooooo

KiKi05 dc

I'm a butter/dynamite army and I prefer their Korean songs more. I discovered and fell in love with I Need U after dynamite was released

borahae BTS

You are correct! I am watching their lives even without subs. duh. Also, with or without English lyrics I am loving their songs because of their raw and honest feelings which somehow resonated with all of us. So, whatever it is that makes them happy, im all for it.
