Hey Everyone!!

It's time for episode 2 of RUN BTS 2.0! This episode was unique in so many ways. It felt so much like an In the Soop or Bon Voyage episode. We can see them sitting around at a table having random conversations all day 😂. Loved hearing all their wild ideas for future episodes while eating the delicious food made by the Oldest/Youngest duo.

in the teaser for these episodes, they posted the schedule for this bts trip at the end, so we knew when it would be coming out. but they haven’t announced other any episodes. it seems like they’ll be announcing the schedule on instagram for a teaser, and the teaser will gives us dates (which they announce again on instagram as it’s upcoming)

I enjoyed the reaction....but also come on Daniel......the English comment. I'm waiting for the day we, as a fandom, can stop wanting things to be in English or easier for us to understand instead of just doing the work to learn the culture. I love y'all, but there are often comments made still to this day about how you don't understand things, or you are half expecting to get what's happening in games or references made when you know in advance there is a difference in culture. Wanting things easier is natural, but there are so many ppl in this fandom with that mindset and it comes across a type of way no matter the intention.🫤 Just felt the need to express it, no I'll intent here.

I think they mentioned they will be watching the solo interviews later. I honestly don't even think that interview explains it all. HYBE BOY a Korean Youtuber who always has amazing updates on the boys explained in one video that RM was sent to what is considered one of the toughest military bases. They do not have regular beds, all the soldiers sleep very closely to each other on a very hard wooden surface and Namjoon already had sleeping issues before. So all of that along with feeling confined probably made everything 10x harder.

Which is very unfortunate. I'm from New York, but it still makes me cringe when I hear or see it .....and so many don't understand what the issue is with it or are quick to excuse it. Even if that's not the intent, there is still a negative connotation to it. It's like when ppl consistently ask/tell the members to speak English in their lives and some are actually oblivious to how rude it actually is. We gotta do better.

guyss the 12 minute episode that you skipped explains how they want to do this new season. There are no spoilers but they explain why there will be breaks and the kind of activities they would like to try, I would recommend you to watch it (even if you do it behind cameras)

Maybe my comment didn't come across as to how I meant it. I eat Korean food weekly, watch K-Content weekly, and even went to Korea all cause of BTS. I LOVE Korean culture and don't shy away from expressing that. What I was trying to say is, I wish I could understand Korean the way I understand english so I wouldn't miss out on all the small inside jokes or nuances of their conversations. Naturally we won't pick up on everything cause we're split between watching the video and reading the subtitles, but that hasn't stopped us from enjoying it. I for sure wasn't saying I wish they spoke english. I'm one of the biggest advocates of having pride in your heritage (especially being a Colombian American), I know how important culture is. I didn't mean it in any other way.

No, your message was clear when you said it lol I wasn't confused by what you meant at all, I'm more so speaking about how the comments itself comes across no matter the intent. I'm sure that's not the intent, I don't think you meant it maliciously at all, but this wasn't an isolated comment, just an observation made based off of today's video and past vids. Again, it's natural to want things to be easier, we all want that .....but sometimes we don't realize that certain comments made can take on a different effect for different ppl no matter the intention. Hopefully you understand where I'm coming from.

Dont worry Daniel. Some of us didnt misunderstand what you said. It came off as what you wanted to mean and it didnt pass above our heads. Nuances and context can be easy to miss but we get it. Some people’s take depends on the perspective and the kind of filter someone perceives the world. Sometimes people interpret things through their own lens, and that can make it harder to hear what was actually being said. It doesnt make you anti-Korean when you wished what u wished. I'm glad you brought this up. I loved it when someone told JK to speak English in his live and he strongly said "NO I WON'T" That was funny but to the point. They are Korean they speak Korean. These Butter armys always want English in everything. Even this new album some are so glad there's alot of English. Even after watching the Doc. And seeing them struggle to pronounce the English words. That's why the best way to know BTS is to listen to their Korean songs first. I know alot of people started knowing them through Butter but it wasn't them. It's what they did at a time we needed some happiness.

Yes I love when they say no also. I just feel like even saying you wish something was in your specific language when that's not the language they speak , regardless of your intent, won't always come across well. Wouldn't it make more sense to just say you wish you understood the language and leave it at that.....better yet, study the language instead of wishing. Lol to bring it back to this discussion, Daniel clarifying what his intentions were still makes my point. No matter the intent or what you meant behind it .....the comment itself is the topic of discussion. If it was that simple, ppl that ask them to speak English could say the same thing. We sometimes have to put intent aside and address the actual things.....and for some reason, there are several ARMYs online that find it hard to do so. Generally speaking.

If you need an explanation on the thing Tae kept mentioning - it is a really common punishment in Korean schools (& homes) for kids to go kneel or stand in a corner of the room (or front of the class) & raise their arms straight up over their head for a certain amount of time. If you get tired & lower your arm before time is up, sometimes the teacher will then give you books to hold over your head as added punishment! Not kidding - they really did this! I think RM was trying to tell Tae they don't do that anymore, but Tae was saying he was always curious about this lol P.S. the thumbnail you refer to has them leaning against a wall - yea, NO, in real school punishments, you can't lean on anything for support! If this sounds like cruel torture - IT IS!

So corporal punishment is something Asian kids had to go thru in schools but now in a lot of countries it’s banned the teachers would literally make you kneel for the whole period of the class or even throw a duster used to clean the white or blackboards at you or even hit you with a ruler on your knuckles I think 90s and early 2000 Asian kids were the last generation to go thru that kind of punishments at school

Its about an hour and half and the site is Snowbang. It will bring back so many memories for ccw and let them see some snippets from performances they will never get to, only because there's just too many.
