My God. The animation is ... well god like

theheck

For real!! I was in awe of it the whole time!

theheck

Seriously GAHHH! This one especially!!

Magride

By the way the red Ant are A rank the white one are low S rank

Lyndai

the Demon Monarch's Daggers are a set of two. Each adds 220 to ATK, but when equipped with both it also adds his attack state to each dagger. so it's like he is at like 3K per attack (not sure of the exact numbers). In the manhwa he wasn't pinned to the ground, he had just been using Fatel Strike on the ant king over and over, and it let to it upgrading to Mutilate, so he just started spamming that. otherwise its pretty much the same as the manhwa fight

Magride

yeah and there guess about the systeme keeping an eyes to some extent on JinWoo is nice.

Season 2 has 13 episodes. That was already announced before the first episode aired. Get ready for a massive plot twist!

Lyndai

can't wait for season 3 reveals lmao

Mangaman

There is one option he has not tried. One person is already dead. The S rank healer. That guy already saved two others from death and is why the ant killed him first.

First thing first: John, please take a break and drink some herbal tea with honey. Chamomile is best. Or even hot chocolate. Health and wellness is important. Hope you feel better soon. - It is call percussive persuasion. The beat(down) persuades the object to resume normal function. 😅 - This is obviously an amazing episode. A lot of points of view, and a lot of different agendas happening all at once. Really fascinating to watch while what equates to an international emergency is playing out. I know a lot from the novel and manwha was cut or changed last episode regarding the Japanese team and how the animation studio nerfed the Korean hunters. I'm curious how much got switched in this episode. I do appreciate that they kept in that the Japanese guild is not quite on the up and up. - The ant vs Jinwoo went pretty much how I expected. I agree with John about why he went after the ant barehanded. He's been itching for a challenge, there was no way he was going to just stand behind the shadows. I am curious if he's going to end up turning any of the ants into shadows. I figured the first thing he'd do was raise the black ant. 🤷‍♀️ - 'Don't know how. Don't care. Let him cook.' - the Chairman, more or less. I love that man. 💗 - I knew that the perception skill was going to come back. Even as a base human he was perception as hell, the upgrade is proving to be interesting af. - I loved seeing the proof that he leveled up the 'rulers hand' skill when he snatched the ant by the thoat! - I don't know if anyone else thinks so, but to me, the more Jinwoo battles and uses the system the more his facial expressions look like the God Statue from the double dungeon. - LOVED the reaction! You two awesome, and the cliffhanger is certainly gripping. 😂 TTFN! 🩷💛🩵

Bboyblock .

MAN they went IN on this episode - coming from me reading the entire manwha as it released they went crazy on this fight and tbh I thought it was better here in anime holy molly

Scerician

The fight was really good, but there were some significant changes throughout this episode. The outcome was the same though

Flawless4770

i had to buy this to see your reaction sooner i just couldnt wait lol. this episode was SOO HYPE DUDE

Flawless4770

the ant king using ice powers is an anime addition that wasnt in the manwha. It's cool that they made him use the powers of people he devoured because it was kinda weird in the manwha that he killed all these people but only used the healer's regeneration and nothing else.

Hhound42

I think Jinshi called his shadows because the Ant King had ordered the ants to attack Jinwoo. I read online someone said later in the LNs that the Elixir only heals illnesses not injuries.

helloiwouldliketogiveyoumoney

Except that addition doesnt make any sense because we saw the ice hunters head in the previous episode, uneaten.

helloiwouldliketogiveyoumoney

At 25:40 About the mutilation skill upgrade, I wont spoil it but apparently the anime messed up by changing when this happens. I'm told it doesn't happen mid-fight in the source material for a reason. Another change is that in the manhwa the camera feed doesnt cut out, Jinwoo tells the guy to stop recording. Still, what a great episode.

Flawless4770

You are totally right, at least they tried

Joe

So if I remember correctly the normal ants/the red ones are B-rank, the ones with wings are A-rank and the white ones are S-rank, then the the queen which was the dungeon boss so she's an S-rank as well and then there's the King(black ant) and he's one a whole other level.

theheck

Ahhh you're right! Having a healer minion would be a huge benefit overall as well

theheck

Been quite a fan of percussive persuasion over the years haha!! Sometimes it just works! Freaking still blown away by how incredible this battle was! Rulers Hand was putting in some work! Very interesting observation about Jinwoo's facial expressions looking more like the double dungeon statue! I'm thinking back and that is wild. Wonder if there is some kind of correlation there as well!?

theheck

Seriously loved that fight scene. Peak animation!!

theheck

So freaking hype! Thanks for being here and joining us! Brings even more hype to an already incredible episode!

theheck

Ah so the Elixer is specifically for illness. That makes sense. Different potions for different things. Guess it was worth a shot though ha. Stoked to find out what he does next.

Hhound42

Oh, I don't think many reactors have twigged to things still on the table. One that I liked was Jinwoo doing "Arise" on the Ant King and having him freeze Hunter Cha in ice.

Hhound42

Gah! watching Solol Leveling and Apothecary Diaries back to back so things got blended. Although, imagine Jinshi and Jinwoo chatting in a bar about how their day went.

Richard Diaz

He originally had six elixirs. They only heal illnesses.
