Food Wars is great, but it is very ecchi. If you can get past that, it's really good.

theheck

Haha that's definitely a recurring theme any time it gets brought up but if the cooking is awesome then a little ecchi never hurt anyone right??

BewearKing64

I recommend Food Wars as well. As the person below explained it is ecchi, but it's a very fun watch.

Nam Srikhammul

Campfire cooking in Another world is also very good. And funny. And Season 2 is coming this year.

Zero Three

Food wars is quite good, but I would also throw my hat into watching Restaurant to Another World (2 seasons, 24 episodes) its more laid back than some of those other anime on that list.

LaLa

Somehow watching this made me have a visceral flashback to Ouran Highschool Host Club, all I could hear in my head was 'fancy tuna'. 😅 - I can't think of any straight cooking anime off the top of my head, Maid Sama being the closest that popped in. I can however make a very different suggestion. Hear me out: What if you guys did special Patreon reactions to a cooking competition? I think you guys would love Tournament of Champions on food network. Intense, actually difficult, blind judging, and the food always looks absolutely mouth watering. 🤤 Just a different idea. 🩷💛🩵

Campfire cooking in another world is my choice, however don’t miss out on Restaurant to another world.

Jeff Schaller

Once you get past the first season it calms down a bit. The cooking is really good up until the 5th season. Then reality kinda goes out the window. There is a chef who remade a ton of the recipes from food wars named Chef PK on YouTube.

Spiritstrike

My favourite is Campfire Cooking In Another World With My Absurd Skill.

scott Carter

I'll say it again. Campfire cooking in another world is my first choice.

BakaSama

From the shows listed in this video and based on what y'all seem to be looking for, I can only recommend Food Wars. As others have said, it is ecchi but once you get past that there's actually some really neat cooking science and a pretty decent story too. Princess Connect Re: Dive is a really fun anime IMO, but it's more Fantasy Slice of Life intermixed with Fantasy World shenanigans. It transitions into a serious plot in Season 2. I've not seen it, but I've heard good things about Campfire Cooking, so it's definitely something to consider. The only other "Food" Anime I can think of that I've watched is Restaurant in Another World, but the only thing I can really remember about it is the tavern's patron is a Red Dragon and a Black Dragon winds up working there as a waitress.

Dennis

Loved restaurant to another world. It's good vibes with some character backstory and strangers from different walks of life connecting over good food.

JS

Campfire cooking in another world without a doubt

PotterBrony

I’d like to see Restaurant to Another World. You don’t see many reactions to it, there’s no high stakes or anything it’s a very chill show, with a lot of lore. So many different characters stories in a kind of anthology format.

Hunter De Lupin

For most of these shows, it's a different dish each episode, so you'll get 12-13 different dishes each season. My pick would be "Today's menu with the Emiyas". I LOVE the Fate series and this one had a unique release. It started on Jan 1st 2018, then it release each month on the 1st until Jan 1st on 2019. 13 Episodes spanning an entire year. They are shorter episodes as well at 13 min, so you could watch 2-3 at a time. My next would be "Restaurant to Another World",(not shown on the vid list), but 2 seasons w/ 12 ep each.

Campfire cooking in another world

Miss[T]NiN

Campfire cooking in another world and Food Wars is both great choice

Croydon Davis

My top two is campfire cooking and restaurant to another world

Edward Lott

Campfire Cooking in Another World. Also season 2 is due to come out soon!

Cell108

Campfire Cooking in Another World is one of my Favorite Anime all Time

theheck

Different idea but definitely has me thinking about other forms of food content. I like it. I have a huge goal of trying to figure out cooking content for this place as soon as I can. I'd like to start doing some cooking streams and all kinds of food related stuff here soon. Just got to get a few things in order

Campfire Cooking seems pretty wild and I have a feeling no matter what we end up going with, Campfire will be on our list to watch either way.

theheck

That sounds perfect honestly! Connecting over good food is really the best.

Mangaman

Campfire cooking is a good one. For some reason I could not see the video so if someone already suggested this forgive me but I found Reborn as a Vending Machine, I now wander the Dungeon pretty good. The title caught my attention as unusual but it reminded me of Campfire Cooking but expanded on the concept in later episodes.

theheck

That sounds like a wild freaking show haha. Campfire cooking is awesome so far. Stoked to check out more episodes!
