I should mention that there is extra after the ending credits for pretty much the whole season. you can also watch till the very end considering that there isn't much of a preview (preview is just them saying the name of the next episode)

I'm like you. it's so nice to just see everyone enjoy their life for awhile without having to worry about someone with another agenda. you also get to see how they really start developing as a people and everyones parts in the develoment. you may have met some of the background characters once in the show. that's what makes this a great show.

Every time I watch Slime Diaries, I just feel soothed. I should remember that when I'm really depressed. I'm enjoying your enjoyment, too, as an added bonus. ..... So Ririna did appear in the main story/anime, but was seriously a background character there. She appeared early on, when Rimuru went to Dwargon and returned to find 500 new goblins had arrived in town. She was one of the four village leaders, who were placed under Rigurd's leadership. You saw the other three also in the main story, some even spoke at times. ...... Rice cultivation was originally dry, but wet cultivation was another revolution that greatly increased yields. ...... Gobta did receive a real reward, not only a hoe, but mainly also a long knife (or short sword?) with a scabbard. The scabbard is called a Case Cannon, which acts a bit like a railgun. You saw him use it a few times. ......... Why not try a community garden, if you currently have no land of your own?

Soothing is such a good way to describe it. I love that. That's exactly how this show makes me feel too. It just has such a promising vibe to it, like everything is going to be alright. Shows you a lot of the little things in life that can bring such joy.
