Maple is a novice at games so she's going to be doing things that gamers "know" won't work, but Maple tries and it works for her. Falling asleep in the woods, eating a dragon it just gets crazier for our MC.

The chat screens of this anime are fun to read in and of themselves. In every episode I paused to read them because, well, because. Oh, and her getting powers by eating the monsters is an undocumented bug in the system that never gets fixed because no other player does that. It inflicts status damage, not HP damage. The explanation is quite complicated and is rather silly. Buckle up! The ride of the Maple express just gets a LOT crazier!

I find this show so much fun! Keep in mind Maple is very new to gaming in general and is obviously a noob when it comes to NWO. So as we saw, she ended up doing some things that she simply found to be fun but normal gamers would never think to try...like stand for an hour and let a bunny monster attack her. And it led to acquiring a new skill that directly compliments her all VIT build. The same could be said for the other skills and items she acquired this episode. The requirements for them were specifically things that normal gamers would probably not think to try. Which means Maple has achieved some uncanny (and somewhat accidental) success LOL

Romanji, the spelling of Japanese words into the English alphabet, the Japanese consonant that's a combination of R/L, so R and L are interchangeable in Romanji spelling. This is important to know to understand Maple's partner Risa in-game name next episode. When spelling non-Japanese words in Romanji to Japanese pronunciations, there is no 'V' in the Japanese phonetic alphabet, so this is usually transposed to a 'B'.

NWO must be a PG rated VR MMRPG game. If it was a R rated game, what else would have been lost when the Poison/Acid breath from the Poison Dragon destroyed her equipment ???
