Oh shit, as an enby who loved Chappelle for 20 years before being crushingly disappointed (and who still wants to be optimistic about a redemption/growth) I'm now feeling very impatient to experience CJ's big-picture perspective.

I'm having a really hard time figuring out what this video will be about. Strawberry Shortcake is my best guess.

Me writing the outline for the essay I am never going to end up writing

I can’t wait for the segment about Chapelle creepily going back to his high school to hold an assembly where he took children phones and then publicly bullied them for being mean to him online

I don't think they're on Netflix, but you gotta rock the shit that cemented his stand up legacy: Killin' Them Softly and For What It's Worth. KTS, at least, was an HBO special. FWIW was Showtime. They're both on YouTube, but KTS was why Chappelle Show was green lit in the first place. Both are timeless, but For What It's Worth is a 9.8. it's the best Dave Chappelle stand up special. Period. S tier. Beyond reproach. Up there with Louie CK's Chewed Up. It's too bad Dave got into a boomer feedback loop and now just spouts off ignorant transphobic bullshit nowadays. A buddy of mine was like "he's always been controversial" but there's a difference between making light of the truth about serious shit that most people would be scared to comment on, and that being noteworthy and brilliant, and just saying stupid shit about something he doesn't understand to piss people off and get some press/attention. Dumbasses don't know the difference.
