Taylor is officially old enough to drink, as of...last chapter, basically. You know, I actually completely forgot about it myself? And then I was looking over the dates and went, "Wait a minute, isn't Taylor's birthday...?"

The team is going to come up with some...interesting ways of hiding the dangerous parts of the American Singularity. To quote Taylor from next chapter, "There was so much bullshit in it that I wouldn’t have been surprised if the paper turned brown."

Another interlude will be due soon. Unfortunately, the one I originally planned to release for that, codenamed "Babylonia Prelude" in my notes, turned out to reveal a few things I didn't want revealed yet, so it's been replaced. It'll show up later, when we're closer to actual Babylonia.

EDIT: Moving down all the way. 5/9/26

There is a chapter missing between Millennial Grudge and Belated Birthday I think.

Not missing, just apparently didn't get moved down properly. It's "Hello, World."

Just quick question how are they going to explain her original bug powers?

The thing of it is, if they keep the investigators distracted and chasing other things, they don't really have to. From a magecraft point of view, the exceptional thing in the first place is how many "familiars" she's controlling at once, and even for that, the most exceptional part is that she doesn't have to prepare them first. Waver's comparison to Zouken back in Septem is very apt. As long as the particulars of what her powers can do are kept secret or buried, there's not actually much to worry about, although that won't stop Olga and Taylor from actually worrying.
