Taylor finally got a chance to use her puppets a bit more. Thanks for standing still, mister.

I had fun with the fights this chapter, getting to have the different Servants take on their enemies in different ways. Ishtar, of course, is still hobbled a little, because her pride won't let her admit to Taylor that she'd actually be much stronger if she had access to enough jewels to use with her "magecraft." I've been trying to engineer a moment where it would actually come out for a while, but she's so stubborn.

EDIT: Moving down all the way. 10/10/2026

When I saw your note about Ishtar needing jewels, my mind did end up going to Shirou/caster remaking the jewel sword copy that rin could use. And with it needing to be physically made using caster’s talents then in order to get a jewel of sufficient size the only option would be from ozymandias. Though considering projecting the thing canonically caused shirou brain damage/ some amnesia alongside the fact Ishtar may not be able to wield it as it was a rin exclusive it’s probably a bit of a stretch.

"But I doubted it" Damn it Taylor, you know better than to tempt the universe like that.

Taylor: "To be able to make her children do what she wants even though they all hate her Morgan must be an Emotional manipulator of the highest level" Merlin: "About that... it's more that the Knights of the round table were really stupid and it somehow worked out for her"
