Not super happy with the title, but it works for what I need.

I've told you guys that I'm not done with the surprises, and this and next chapter are helping to set some of them up for the future and bridge our way to another that is coming very soon. Gramps may have something in store for everyone that they're not expecting. The fact that Ishtar is here might become very relevant to the future, too, but as for how, that's a question of deeper lore and probably won't be answered until later on.

I think this puts us about halfway through Camelot. It feels kind of crazy, but this is already 22 chapters in, and things are just going to pick up speed very soon.

EDIT: Moving down all the way. 10/17/2026

Yeah going to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of "Caster's" involvement in this LB. I know you sometimes make changes that aren't strictly necessary for the story, but I don't see why you decided to bring him in. Moreover I'm concerned that he's going to interfere with Bedivere's future moment. That scene with him and the Lion King is easily top 3 most emotional scenes in FGO in my opinion, both before and after it. And I can totally see Caster taking that spot and it falling way flat in comparison. Also Caster going I must be the one who defeats her makes me laugh, they are nowhere close to the same league of power. I'm not convinced he could defeat normal Servant King Arthur, let alone Goddess Rhongomyniad. I did enjoy the chapter in general though, thank you for writing!

I don't intend to replace anything of Bedivere's. "Caster" has a role to play, but how exactly his subplot ties together is something I'm keeping close to the chest. But I *have* already written his finale for this Singularity, and I teared up a couple of times writing it, so we'll see how it all lands when the time comes.

I look forward to being pleasantly surprised then, in that case.

It feels odd that Caster knowing Ishtar’s Host doesn’t get commented on, given Waver’s previous commentary, when he found out.

Oh, I wonder who they are going to summon, would be fun if has a counter to Artoria the world gave them Morgan, might be a bit overkill.
