This one was a pain to title, but eventually, I settled on this. There's an extra hidden meaning in it, but I was a bit obtuse about that, so I won't be surprised if no one realizes my intentions on that front.

That confrontation was inevitable, of course, but it wound up taking up more space in this chapter than I meant for it to. They might be done for now, but don't be surprised if they take metaphorical potshots at each other every now and again. The only way they know how to deal with their mistakes is by looking away.

EDIT: Moving down all the way. 10/24/26

“If it fits” - my first thought: “it sits”

As predicted, EMIYA can never get along with his past self (must be bizarre for him in canon F/GO when he dons that Summer getup)... all the more so when Shirou, and not Muramasa, is 'the one in the (proverbial) driver's seat'. Having typed out the above... I was apparently under the mistaken(?) impression that Shirou was from a post-Fate route (and aiming for the Realta Nua(?) conclusion), but instead, he's from a post-UBW ~~Normal~~ True End?

It's a bit of a bastardized route. Started Fate, stayed Fate romance, veered into UBW for a while, and ended off in a Fate ending. Shirou got to have his UBW route character development and his Fate route romance.

Hmm... I wonder if this version of Shirou/Muramasa could survive using his NP; after all, he does have Avalon active.

Between Rin and Shirou, Archer might start wondering if the universe had decided to fuck with him specificaly, and if he meet Taiga next singularity it's not gonna get any better.

Sonicmana

Oh good lord i managed to forget about Jaguar Warrior. I now dearly hope he does encounter her, just so he can boggle at her being Like That
