Concept Corner #2 - Undressing System! (Patreon)

First of all, welcome new Patrons and thank you for joining us on this ride!

Last month, we started a new type of post in which we go in depth with some of the ideas behind Project Cappuccino. With that in mind, it's time for our second Concept Corner! We're bringing you a deeper look at some poses and mechanics for the undressing system that will be making it's way into Project Cappuccino.

Doku has prepared some more sketches for the other girls poses in Room 1.

Sophie's original concept pose has been tweaked so that it's similar to the new ones.

One problem that we've run into when working with these concept sketches is that the girls look like they're a bit too far from the camera. 

To remedy this, I'll likely be implementing some camera controls for the player that allow you to zoom in on different parts of them. Ideally, players will be able to pick from different camera positions while the girls undress.

Our original concept sketch of the undressing system has a box setup on the left that's similar to the toy box in the rooms. This box will be what players use to choose which article of clothing comes off. When selecting one, the game will then respond by showing the appropriate CG for it.

In the process of the girls undressing, they will also talk to the player and respond to things they're doing, which will serve as an extra way of developing their character during sexual situations.

Sophie: "You wan't me to take my bra off already?"

Colette: "You'd better not make fun of me."

Cerise: "A-Are you sure the door is locked..."

Mira: "You know just what to do to get me all hot and bothered don't you?"

We plan on making this system flexible in the event that we do end up adding alternate outfits down the line. By keeping this in mind, we'll be able to better prepare the idle animations and layering for this.
