He doesn't want to admit that he'd much rather be with you than be on his own.

auxarc99

Poor Dan just can't catch a break 🙃

Fable

I was so hoping there would be a part 2!!! Thank you, Phas and Lia ☺

Audrey (rainbowbarnacle)

OOH, I was hoping there'd be more of this one!! SENTIENT SWAMPS, WHAT A NEAT CONCEPT <3 Oh my god the lore in this one is *amazing*, and that chase scene was really exciting, holy crap. (also WHAT A FUSSY GRUMPY HEALER GUY, ehehehe, i'm really liking getting to know these characters) (fkd;sfas and DAN, poor Dan) I really look forward to seeing what happens next, this is such a cool series!

OHHHH YEEEAAAHHHH 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Sara Jayme

I’m just SWAMPED with emotion

Malory Zajdel

Panicked Phas is a nice change of pace hehe. Although the listener needs to work on their communication skills. Looking forward to the continuation.

Birdybell

This guy makes me want to let him walk into the swamp and rub my successful escort in his face at the same time.

Great VAing, Phasmid! Excellent work, Lia! The way the rival acts in the wagon scene is a great show of the compassion they have and their lack of knowledge outside of healing and non-hazardous travel. It makes me more curious as to why exactly the listener pursued healing when they seem to be adept in adventuring. The scenes with danger feel right; the listener doesn’t say too much because they’re focused on keeping the two of them alive while the rival panics. They don’t waste time giving unnecessary information that’ll just rile up their travel partner more. And now we know the origins of Dan’s collapsed lung 😂🤣 I look forward to the next part in this series! I’m hooked 🤩

BarefootNimh

Oooh Lia you've done it again! Big doofus energy in this one. Can you imagine a wagon sized mimic? It doesn't even have wheels... Looking forward to intimate night watch scenes. Rival getting so gently woken for his shift.. and watching peacefully sleeping listener.. and musing over why a healer student have so many damn adventuring scars.

Bcode

Good job , Lia and Phasmid . Love how this storyline is funny and just rivals are getting comfortable with each other. Can’t wait for the romance scene 🎬😉🫶🏻

TaraD

Ooooo, this was great!! And just begging for a part 3! Or maybe that’s just me, lol

Shellbelle

I hope there is another part where our speak behaves in a less selfish manner. He owes the Listener a big debt of gratitude. Also, is allyship a real word? Isn't it "alliance? " I know I'm being snarky. Forgive my nit-pickiness.

nekori

Not Dan's lungs collapsing again, that guy will never recover from this curse, will he? Anyways, awesome audio and I'm looking forward to the next part. The writing of the mysterious Listener who knows too much to not be hiding something and the compassionate rival who struggles with self-doubts and tries to prove himself is such a fun dynamic

Katie Hughes

How did Dan come to be? I half wonder if you are just taking the piss out of one of your real world best friends. I wonder if its all the same Dan. Can Dan be in more the one place at a time? Can he teleport? Do his lungs just not catch up fast enough causing them to collaps like a untied baloon?

VermillionSkie

Is it chasing us? Yes! We’re fucked aren’t we? Exact conversation my d&d group has almost every session. 🤣

Karoline

Poor boy would definitely be one of the first to die in a horror movie 😂
