Happy Having Internet Day, people.  Seriously. I had no access to the internet since last Tuesday.  Family time this month was fun, but both time consuming and very much ‘getting back to nature’ type stuff. Which I love. But I’d have liked access to the internet on something other than the SOS thing on my phone. We had chargers galore, didn't run out of batteries. But internet, yeah, no didn't have that. At least not when i could actually make use of it. UGH.

Good news, I used that time to do the monthly outlines for all the fics.  Had a good deal of fun with that, honestly.  Also went over a few more Chaotic Space chapters.  I don’t try to correct every Grammarly-type mistake, but There is a lot of that my writing style in that fic which doesn’t hold up any longer given the experience in writing I’ve had since, but in the main, I’m trying to cut back on the Max Sleaze/Bashing, add a bit more realism and a bit more paragraph/speaker based things there.

That’s… turning into a project, which a part of me likes, but a part of me knows it’s a rabbit hole I shouldn’t have gone down.  UGH.  Anyway, those chapters will be posted soon after this goes up over on A03.

In terms of the AO3 Migration Project™, I haven’t done nearly as much as I had hoped at this point.  I also saw someone posting some mistakes and such things for Heroes. I will go over those today, and switch over Journey Gone Astray.

On the other projects I wanted to do this month, thanks to not having access to the internet, I’m nearly done going over the second chapter of Going off the Rails.  The Harry portion anyway.  I want to add a bit more humor, and one Force related problem, but that’ll be it for the Harry portion, and then I’ll rewrite the Sidious battle scene.

The reason this might be important is that I don’t know if I will be able to get to the HP poll winner.  We’ll have to see, but two weeks to get three fics written up start to finish isn’t going to happen.  Still, I did warn you all that might be the case.

Oh, I also saw that I have some messages here to look over. I will also do that today.

Now, onto the actual poll!

This was reaallllly tight… right up until the Carry-over Effect was added in.  Before that, King of Champions had barely won, with 1,685 to Climbing Together’s 1,629.  With it, though, King of Champions carried it handily, bringing in a total of 2,179.

So the first new chapter this month will be King of Champions.  Heh, Ozpin getting his teeth kicked in… verbally anyway.

Ozpin's PR is going to be in the Crapper after this. Beacon will be hit too; after the white fang attempted kidnapping and all of Harry's friends leaving, it will set a precedent as well as create a permission structure to leave Beacon. Ozpin is going to have to spend so much of his political influence to keep his head above water. After expelling one of the council members' sons, and with this many students leaving, the Vale council will conduct an internal affairs investigation, forcing Ozpin to spend political capital to stall or stop that investigation.
