Sorry about getting this out so late, guys, but as it will be the third priority this month, it shouldn’t matter much. Here it is, the Ranma Only poll. I removed Alto Out There. I am no longer in a Kasumi mood thanks to my work with Chaotic Space, and frankly, with how much work the migration project and then getting back into FILFy is going to take, I don’t think I should look into starting new projects anytime soon. Hence why the next chapter of Going off the Rails, when you see it, will be the last of that work until Magic and/or FiLFy are done.
Butterfly Wings = A Horse’s Hoofs – Ranma/DC crossover: Ranma and his trio of attractive companions arrive at a real western ranch, where General Eiling’s extended family is ready to put their best feet forward in the way of food, and places for the girls to change into more appropriate, non-exercise type attire. Cassie proves to be a music mavin while Ranma and Eiling have a conversation over steak, Kara makes friends with a few scientists, and Kori makes friends with everyone and all the animals she can. Impressions are made, romantic moments had and patents put in place along with offers of help made, before news interrupts the fun of someone looking like Bizarro making trouble in Metropolis. Kara decides she should be the one to handle this, while Ranma and the others go with her, with Ranma and Kori pushing their flight speed well beyond anything they’ve used before, arriving on the scene to give Bizarro and his new companion a very, very bad day while in outer space, a Green Lantern finally arrives in Sol, much to his own personal chagrin.
The Effect of a Horse and Dragon – Ranma/Mass Effect Crossover: the Geth attempt to reclaim Peak 15, only to quickly come to realize they might not have brought enough metal to the party. Tali, Garrus and the team of mercenaries make it very hard for them on the surface, while a cackling Ranma makes the Geth worries a certainty. Meanwhile, elsewhere, a team of Cerberus operatives move on their target, coming away with valuable research data on how to create AI, prompting the locals, after everything is settled, to ask for some help from Ranma and his team. Garrus demurs, wanting to retain control of Saren, and Ranma agrees, but only after Benezia arrives. Which occurs a few days later, and in style, much to the chagrin of the various corps who control Noveria. A debate on morals occur, with Ranma’s earnestness overcoming fear, and work on unthawing the Rachni Queen continues, far faster than it would have otherwise with Ranma’s help. A joke and debate about music is taken too far, and Tali finds herself performing a rather embarrassing act with Ranma which turns out to be just right to settle the Queen down in a rather surprising manner.
This poll will end on the 24th, though I don’t know if I will be starting work on it right away. We’ll see if I’m done the HP poll winner by then, and then I will have to start the second-read through of Journey if that story wins, which it probably will considering it will be getting the carry over effect of 310. At this point, though, that shouldn’t take me and Hiryo very long. The later chapters of that work are far better written in terms of dialogue than the first few were, in my opinion.
(As an aside, Hiryo, I have seen you got the last chapter of Stallion back to me. I will start going over it as soon as I’ve posted this. I would have started it yesterday, but I was on a serious Climbing roll! Today I will do that, then something for HP-DG-AP-PN-RG-NR.)
