I went to see that new police thriller everyone is talking about and… It's ok guys, I swear I'm normal about them. Probably.

But I did felt compelled to draw some fanart which you know is a bit rare from me, don't really know why, but here it is!

It was actually so good. And it felt like a miracle because Disney has been having a bit of a weird one for a couple of years now.

(The bad thing is that, a live action remake is probably now a certainty in the head of some low IQ producer)

I actually started sketching some stuff on my tablet right after I was back home from the theater and the original plan was to make it a sketch dump. But I accidentally finished these. Oops.

I wanted to keep feeling sketchy here but there's a couple things still unfinished that I may render in a more complete style later. Though you may by now know how my brain works and there's a chance I forget to do it.

I keep talking in plural because there two (one?) others but I separated them in the post because they are a bit more spoilery. Kinda… in a sense not really but, just in case…

I do talk about the plot a bit so, if you have already seen the movie, or you don't care and are just subscribed for the vampires you can keep scrolling down.

Spoilers ahead.

Fine, I'll do it myself!

There was some discourse leading up to the release about, would Disney actually dare to make these two a couple in the sequel? And for most of that time I was convinced that the odds were a firm 50% - 50%

And I kind of nailed it.

It seems like the whole movie was made around Nick and Judy ending together, the subtext was working overtime to the point it became text and they had an incredibly emotional scene of them revealing their feelings to each other.

But they didn't kiss or whatever.

So fine, I'll do it myself.

I don't know, I guess I'm compelled by the bunny who wants to change the world and the fox that would throw away the world for her.

Basically, it's the scene where they express their feelings but in the end they do kiss lol

All of this was done on procreate so the good news is that we have a Timelapse! If you're into that kind of stuff.

Some editorializing was done on the video because there's a chance I was working on another unrelated thing on that same file before starting these. Also, here you will be able to see one of the other sketches I may finish later, so take that as a WIP. But it's not the only one.

Here are this two panels by themselves.

One final thing I'll say for now is that there was one scene in the movie that kind of happened almost exactly as in the one fanfic I once tought of but never wrote lmao.

Man... 2016 was so many years ago and it's still so cool to see these guys ^^. I second you on the thought that they had a 50/50 chance of being a thing... But a part of me always thought "they're gonna troll us big time" and well... me rio para no llorar xdn't

I actually don't thionk they're trolling, I think they're making sure to secure the shippers tickets for the third one lmao. That post credits scene really read like that

Coolness to see you draw Zootopia again after so long, and even more coolness that it's some actual shipping art of Nick & Judy! I still need to see the sequel and have heard the same things about it, so great job in giving us the kiss scene that the movie wasn't bold enough to give us. :D
