PoE2 0.5 - After 11 years. A BIG announcement. Upcoming Features. A new background. (Patreon)

I've been working on the Filter for 11 years and it's time for a change.

It feels weird to write this, however after hitting 36 and working a fulltime job and developing several projects at once, my energy is just not enough to do both.

Sooo... I had a choice to make.

As of last week I'm going full in on my projects.

I also moved to Greece with my GF (the artist behind the FilterBlade backgrounds). I'm going fulltime self-employed to work on FilterBlade, my game and some other projects+consulting.

What does it mean for PoE/FilterBlade?

I'll have a lot more time to work on some complex ideas.

We have some very cool things coming up for 1.0.

I may do a bit more PoE content as well.

Related: I don't intend to add any paid features, more ads and same as before I won't cooperate with any shady agents/RMT companies etc. Thank you for your trust.

This is a crazy, scary and exciting new world for me. It would not been possible without you all. Thank you.

Also, Eleni made a new FilterBlade background and I think it's awesome.

So.

Features. I need to get back to programming Filters, I'll keep things brief:

NEW STYLE: AURA - works great with controller/WASD for the PoE2 exclusive gradient shaders, very dark-mode.

NEW STYLE: VAAL - a favorite of many in POE1. Making a return in PoE2

BASETYPE MATRIX IMRPOVEMENTS

This is a more technical thing, but the BaseTypeMatrix has been rewritten.

A lot of niche complains, bugs, inaccuracies etc. have been improved. Many of you have experienced some issues in this area (due to GGG renaming all bases every league).

This will no longer happen. + we're expanding it with new features in the future.

CUSTOM STRICTNESSES:

Mix and match strictneses!

I've also expanded the strictness gradient for PoE2 beyond Uber+ strict. If this league will be just as crazy as the last one it'll come in handy.

I have to get back to tiering 300 runes.
