fargoboyle .

You know nothing Jon Snow, Winter is Coming and The Night is dark and full of terrors surely amongst the top three sayings to come out of this series

CaveMan

i know you have finished GoT now, but it's really great to see how invested you are in everything that happens . Your real time reactions are priceless 😃

James

Can we just have more GOT instead of the movie lol, ep 9 is essentially a film.

TThxlxnge

Don’t know how true this is but apparently tommen and myrcella’s actors were dating for a period of time which is ironically hilarious 😂

Rune Gade Larsson

I really love the conversations between Tywin and Arya. The acting from both of them is fantastic.

Gendry is a bastard, so he wouldn’t have a claim to the throne unless he was legitimized by a sitting monarch. Bastards aren’t set to inherit anything, only true born children are, though I guess they could form like a cadet branch to a family if they are acknowledged by the main branch and granted some lands. But Robert was never even aware of Gendry, and Stannis is the head of House Baratheon now and there’s no way he would ever do that lol so yeah, Stannis is the rightful heir to the iron throne at this point.

CaveMan

I don't think its been mentioned here yet, but john snow and egret met on the GoT set and then married in real life

Regarding your mid-episode talk about perception, and point of view, a quote came to mind while you were talking - "We judge others by their actions and ourselves by our intentions". It is a quote that has stuck with me since I heard it, and I think ties in with exactly what you're talking about. I think the show does a really good job of having grey characters - very, very few are truly black or white, fully "good" or "bad". Many characters you want to cheer for make stupid choices or are stubborn or naive, and in Game of Thrones characters very often get punished with realistic consequences, like Ned. And many characters you are set up to hate or who are annoying have moments where they are honorable or honest or thoughtful and it can feel uncomfortable, because you know it too is realistic. Like you were saying, someone you hate could be a great father, or an awesome boss, or very generous with homeless people. It doesn't necessarily change the reason you hate them, but people are all a combination of good and bad, and the show does characters very well in that regard.

A squire is typically a low-born boy age 14-20ish. takes care of the horse and armor / equipment of a knight, as well as a kind of assistant/servant. Fetching things, serving them food, cleaning their rooms. In battle, a squire would sometimes join their knight, unless the knight was fighting on horseback.

Kawaii Leonard

I know you already finished the series so I won't really go into any plot points except that I love the moral conversations in the early seasons, like for example, Jaime/Cat's "Man without honour" convo or Davos/Stannis "duty" convo. That's why I am excited about the Knights of the Seven Kingdom series.

Lee Smith

I love Osha and Brans relationship throughout the story, she treats him basically as an equal, I dont think she ever even tries to pull, "I'm the adult we do what I say". Although its also a little sad because bran has had to become so mature.

Wayne

I really enjoyed you set yourself up with that speech knowing what Jamie was about to do hahaha

Hurrakan

Bran's wolf is named Summer

Misha

Ah yes, Davis and Stannos

David Edwards

I fucking LOVE Charles Dance as Tywin Lannister, he’s genuinely incredible, commands every scene

Kirk Deighton

You have seen the mountains face before but you didn't recognize him because they changed the actor. You probably noticed the second time they switched him out, as its more immediately obvious with the next guy.

agent29

28:24 since i know you've already finished the show. I can't wait to see your thoughts now lol

MoShou

1:54:00 wooow did she really say Gender y? 2 seasons in and she still doesn’t what a bastard is? I swear I’m surprised modern audiences still have no clue what a bastard actually means especially in this era (even though it’s medieval fictional fantasy) 🙄

klaire

i understand what a bastard is, he could be legitimized though. and have a better claim than at least joffrey or renly

klaire

that makes so much more sense lol

Jordan Marcial

Ik you’re probably sick of this question by now 😭😭 but are you planning on watching the lore videos? Even though I know you’ve already finished the series.

RCC_1111

I know this might win me some haters but... show Tywin > book Tywin. Charles Dance is just too damn cool. And this is coming from someone who prefers most things about the books.

Jonathan Blaze

32:44 Your crystal ball was on point! 33:20 and again!

J

Classic. I hope she watches this

Tyler

catelyn stark is the worst in the show.

Haverford West

1:33:45 "A man must sit down. A chicken will GTFO of the way"

Cameron

Honestly Cersei is the worst character. Not the most deplorable, but completely uninteresting, which is the bigger sin with how much screen time she gets. She's not intimidating, smart, charismatic, or anything remotely likable. Not even fun to hate like Joffrey.

Mud Purple

A squire is like an assistant to a knight learning to be a knight under someone

Luís

hearing about your experience with hatred on shows made mine seem silly too 🤭
