Great video! To answer your question about Aegon the Conqueror, he was alive roughly around 100 years ago during this time period. House Redwyne is a wealthy house in the Reach that serve the Tyrells. The guy who was talking to Otto Hightower in the beginning of the episode is his older brother, Lord Hobert Hightower. Sorry this is a lot😅

The person Otto was talking to in the beginning of the episode is his older brother, Hobert Hightower, the current Lord of Oldtown. His brother was essentially pressuring Otto to convince Viserys to name Aegon his heir, because it would be incredibly advantageous both in terms of prestige and power for House Hightower to have their blood inherit the throne. That’s also the reason Hobert called the baby “the conqueror babe” and “second of his name”, basically trying to plant the seed even more that he should be named heir. This Aegon is also technically not the second one after The Conqueror, when Maegor The Cruel took the throne he killed his nephew who was also named Aegon essentially usurping the throne, but since that Aegon (aptly nicknamed “The Uncrowned”) was never coronated, Viserys’ son would still be dubbed “the second” if he ascended the throne. If you get deeper into the lore you’ll come to find out that there’s a ton of Aegons and they can get hard to keep track of lmao.
