I used to be friends with this celebrity journalist and whenever she mentioned Taylor, she’s always said the very positive things- she’s lovely, sweet, kind everything BUT! it’s Taylor’s way. It’s the music Taylor wants to play, the restaurant she wants to go to, she rules the roost. Once you work within the perimeters she establishes she’s the loveliest person ever, but make no mistake it is not equal footing with Taylor and her friends… you are in her company, Taylor is not in yours. And I honestly think that makes perfect sense. Not saying Taylor is a nasty bitch, BUT she is a control freak who does like to have it her way, and doesn’t like you if you don’t want to follow her rules. Anyway, loved this ep

The difficult thing with exposingsmg is while they have some info that seems rooted in reality they say some insane and unhinged things that are very clearly not true so it’s hard to believe anything even the plausible stuff when other stuff just sounds completely ridiculous. For example they say Taylor has a ghost writer for all her songs so how can we take other stuff they say seriously when they say stuff like that. Also I’m skeptical about her strict rule about hard drugs when she has been known to associate closely with people while they were using heavily. Like she was very close (pr friendship or not) with Cara when she was using hard drugs heavily. Ed Sheeran recently opened up about using hard drugs in his early 20s which is when him and Taylor were closest and partying together a lot. I don’t know if you’ve listened to Taylor and Ed’s bbc radio1 full interview from 2015 but it’s the most candidly I think she ever talks about partying after the 2015 Grammys. It honestly makes me believe she’s more comfortable with drugs even hard ones than her public image leads us to believe. I wouldn’t be surprised if all the rumors about her hard no associating with drugs rules are a result of her amazing pr team because so many of the people she hung out and partied with during 1989 era are known drug users and even if she herself didn’t use I have to imagine she was around it if she was going to all of these parties. I think it is very pointed why Taylor puts Gracie on a pedestal, especially when it comes to giving credit for inspiration. Olivia has gone on record to say that she was inspired to write drivers license, the song that started her career, when she driving around listening to Gracie Abrams. Combine that with the fact that she also couldn’t stop talking about Taylor and used multiple ts songs as inspiration on her first album, being a “swiftie” has fast tracked her career exponentially faster than Taylor was able to.
