I didn’t want to say it but when I heard sweet nothing I was like “huh”. just bc taylor has so historically loved SCREAMING AND FIGHTING AND KISSING IN THE RAIN etc. I think it’s interesting that her two long term relationships have been with relatively lowkey (some may say bland) men, as opposed to her shorter, more passionate flings that still seem to impact her years and years later. I think perhaps she got bored, and will end up with someone with a bit more oomf. or at least a career.

Don’t mean this disrespectfully but some were speculating about her wait early on in the midnights era. If her and Joe were going through a rough patch and that was something she struggled with it makes sense (coming from someone with family who struggle with that too). It might also explain THE WORK. She’s clearly a hardworking and driven individual anyway but what 20 or 30 something person hasn’t thrown themselves into their work when their relationship wasn’t plain sailing. Must be so hard to have a relationship when you’re that level of celebrity too
