I wish I could comment on all the moments in this podcast. So good. I also think Taylor was as shocked as we were to win the AOTYA. She seemed out of sorts. But she was a classy lady taking up Lana. Period can we talk about her standing and clapping for Olivia and Olivia blowing her a kiss at the end??? Also classy. Made my heart happy. Well done Snakes. Xoxo

My boyfriend who barely commented on things during the Grammys said “she’s drunk” when Taylor got up to receive the Album of the Year Award and after he said that, I was like “yeah, she may be buzzed” because she was gagged and thought she was done for the night and probably had a few extra sips and then forgot to look Celine in the eye that everyone’s cooking her for.

Also, I loved Taylor’s forced tears at Joni’s performance. She wasn’t fully there for it. And why should she be? Joni hated her

Yesss thank you for making my drive to work better! Regarding the timing of the new album - during the Champagne Problems speech for Tokyo N1, she said she started working on this album right after turning in Midnights. Do with that what you will….

midnights is a 1lp so only 2 sides :) separating the record into sides a/b/c/d is rarely a thematic choice and mostly just about how much music can fit on a given side

As a woman who only decided to have children later in life (41 thank you Jesus !) It's important to understand that time is much more valuable to women than men. We have a relatively small window within which we can safely have children, whereas men can reproduce for much, much longer... Even into their 80's. I wish that men understood this when they dated women, because if they are just messing around, they are wasting valuable time for a woman. Most women, like myself, never wanted children until I met and fell in love with my husband... Then the drive was so profound it was undeniable! So even if a woman tells a man they don't want children, there's still a good chance that will change when the right guy comes along. I could have never imagined how much I would love being a mum and I regret not being able to have a much bigger family. So I get it when Taylor laments losing those 6 years to the heirloom turkey ...

More of the chaotic hilarity that we know and love from you two! I agree that I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) sounds like a Matty track, hinted at through the parentheses which is a The 1975 staple. As for The Smallest Man not seemingly to fit the timeline, I propose that it could refer to the week in May 2023 when the article came out that Joe was "distraught" over her relationship with Matty and she subsequently played Should've Said No and Better Man. She made multiple visits to the studio that week.

One reason I think people are so obsessed with her marrying Travis Kelce is because a lot of modern women desperately want a super masculine man who is also liberal, or at least not an anti-vaxer. They are so rare that it makes it easy for women to project their wants onto Taylor. People love to emphasize that he is “a man” which is a bit confusing because quite literally she has only dated men before but what they really mean is a MASCULINE MAN. There is so much discourse about his size and how she LOOKS with him. I think most modern feminist women feel shame admitting they want that but they feel free to go off on the internet that this power couple MUST get married.

After watching Zacks video where he ate in the descriptions for Footnote and Fresh Out the Summer and then hearing him realize that he got the titles wrong on the pod has me laughing so much! Like that is so hilarious to me 😂😂😂 love the pod you two! It really is just two girlies saying exactly lol
