Kenku Studies (Sketches) (Patreon)

For those who are unfamiliar, Kenku are a race of humanoid ravens (or can be other birds depending on preference) in Dungeons & Dragons.

I’ve recently got roped into a one-shot DnD campaign to help a couple of newbies be introduced to the game and feel comfortable and excited about playing. Since I couldn’t find my character sheet of my first character I had for a one-shot practice campaign, I had to make a new character from scratch.

“Oh nooooo” ;D

I love creating characters so I couldn’t resist. And I thought I try my hand on a Kenku character!! The character sheet is just about done, so now I’m just figuring out how to even draw a Kenku, hence the studies above.

My character’s name is Soot. And her goal is to make tons of friends and to learn all of the languages in the world! I’m sure I’ll have art of her soon. But for now, enjoy the progress of me figuring out how the basic shapes and anatomy of the Kenku.
