Happy February, everyone! I hope you are all doing well.

I’ve set up my goals, updated my bullet journal, and I’m ready to get started.

I’m still practicing how to draw ravens so I can draw proper Kenku characters. And I am now also practicing how to draw half-orc women, working on different head shapes and nose shapes and how the expressions will look.

And theeeeeeen, I got back into storyboarding for my long-term comic! I made a quick outline of the pages and now I’m going page by page. The original first pages I drew out (not shown here) was utter shit so I threw that out and started fresh and I’m already seeing improvement on what I’m seeing in my head. I also feel more confident in my drawing ability to bring this comic to life.

I did finally come up with a title for the comic! But I’m going to keep it to myself for now until I figure out the font and design of said title. This is how I revisit my old, rusty graphic design skills lol

One of the goals for this month is to finish the storyboards for the first chapter of the comic. If I finish them before the month is out, then I’ll start the full sketches. But I’m not going to pressure myself or stress myself out. One goal at a time, no matter how small the chunks are.

So I’m thinking about how I’m going to make the long-term comic available. I’m thinking about opening another tier so that a) you can read it and b) it would help me out financially and c) would help with making physical copies to sell. Thoughts?

I hope you all have a lovely Monday. Talk to you soon!!
