Hello! Here is my full reaction to A Knight Of Seven Kingdoms Part 1!

This was a really great show. I love how much comedy has been added to this incredibly harsh world. Sir Dunk is also a fantastic character to guide us through this pre Game of Thrones story. Egg is also a fascinating character and I can't wait to learn more about him.

Watched on: HBO Max / Runtime: 3 episodes

Hope you enjoy! ❤️

I'm with you Mrs. Jax, this is a first time watch for me as well. I loved these first episodes, that egg guy is so interesting. A whole hour? Yes please. Can't wait for next week's episodes. I have seen Game of Thrones so this one feels even special.

"It's just coming right out of there." Yep, Jax, that is how it almost always works.

Important to note (and not a spoiler), Aegon is NOT the Mad King, whose name was Aerys II. Aegon is the Mad King’s grandfather.

Jax "There are characters that are extremely bloodthirsty!" Also Jax, "I hope all the characters I hate Die!" :)

The story tales of Sir Dunk the Tall and Egg come from the book called the Hedge Knight it contain 3 stories, the first one also call the Hedge Knight and seem to be what those 6 episode are about. The other stories are the Sworn Sword and The Mystery Knight, hopefully tales that will be told in incoming seasons. Those were also adapted into comicbooks/graphic novels.

I've been hoping you'd get to this soon!

Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon are shows with such huge scopes and such high stakes so seeing a show like this that is much more scaled down felt very refreshing. This is a world that can tell so many stories so I am glad we get something like this. Dunk and Egg are so fun to watch and the actors have great chemistry.
