Here is my full reaction to Wicked: For Good!

This movie was such a phenomenal continuation of the first film. It was filled with drama, intrigue, unrequited love, and plot twists. While the first film focused so much on Elpheba, I felt like Glinda really got to have a lot more character development in this part of the story. It was really exciting seeing a different perspective to all of the events from The Wizard Of Oz.

I enjoyed the music and hopefulness in the first film more. But I could not have asked for a better ending. I need to watch both films back to back now to get the full experience.

Watched on: Peacock / Runtime: 2:18:07

Hope you enjoy!

This movie was so good. I've never clicked so fast. Mrs Jax's reaction to the music numbers I enjoyed so much. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Cervio those ladies pulled it off they were phenomenal. I really hope they make a trilogy because this was a lovely roller coaster of all the dancing and singing it was truly a great musical a lovely movie. ♥️♥️

Mike Smith

Can't wait to check this out. I still have not seen For Good. Part I was great. Are you going to check out Oz the Great and Powerful? It's another prequel, this time about Oz. It is unconnected to Wicked though. Directed by Sam Raimi and a great cast including James Franco, Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams. I think it was somewhat divisive but I enjoyed it.

Robert Inman

Thanks Jax! It's probably good you never saw the stage production. While the films greatly fleshed out the story, the stage version did include Elphaba and Fiyero pulling of the escape at the end. Your being surprised was perfect!

In my head, I think Elphalba went to Dorothy after hiding Glinda and made a deal with her to let her have the broomstick and shoes in exchange for helping fake her death. Because in the original, Dorothy kills the witch by accident. But here, from what we see of the shadows, it's clearly malicious on Dorothy's part. She's basically holding the water bucket like a gun before throwing it. So I wonder now if Dorothy was in on it as well. I think you're spot on about Jeff Golblum. The Wizard is a bad person, but he is just so charming and I think we forget how good an actor Goldblum actually is because he's such a meme at this point, but he's a fantastic actor!

I've been waiting for this! Absolutely loved your reaction!
