Here is my full reaction to Toy Story 3!

I LOVED this movie! This franchise just keeps getting better and better. It was the perfect way to continue the story of all of these incredible toys and it also felt like a good place to end the series. I have no idea what the 4th and 5th films are going to be about but this film answered so many of my questions. What happens when Andy outgrows the toys? Where do the toys go? What fate ultimately awaits all of these toys?

Through it all, these characters have each other and they really built a beautiful little family. While each Toy Story film has been hilarious, there is something very bittersweet about them. They focus on the importance of letting go, finding purpose in life, and dealing with the inevitable changes life is going to throw your way. They are truly incredible films.

I can't wait until you see Toy Story 4 that will answer your question the ending to this movie was just perfection I cried along just with you Toy Story 3 is by far my favorite Pixar movie and there's more. And a quick FYI the doll named dolly she is voiced by Bonnie Hunt and the purple octopus you are correct that is voiced by Whoopi Goldberg. Great catch. I can't wait for you to watch the 4th and 5th installment of Toy Story this year. Lotso is the perfect villain even though his story is tragic he really gave the toys a run for their money this was perfection at the end of the best trilogy for Toy Story ♥️♥️

First of all, dammit Pixar why you gotta make me cry. Second I’m kinda worried about Lotso if after all this years it still smells like strawberries, what kinda of chemicals are the manufacturers are putting on this toy. I was really surprised about this movie I thought because it was the third one it was going to be just fun, I didn’t think it was going to be emotional 😭

How GOOD is this movie!?!? I mean, seriously. I notice something new every time I watch it. This time I noticed for the first time that when Big Baby throws Lotso in the dumpster it's exactly like when Darth Vader throws the Emperor down the shaft in Return of the Jedi.

This is, imo, the perfect movie. 4 is super fun and great, but nothing tops this. They could’ve stopped here and it would have been perfection. This is right up there with Paddington 2 as uh, “non-traditional” movies with a legit claim as one of the best movies of all time.

I’m one of the rare people that did enjoy Toy story 4. Enjoy what you enjoy. At the time we definitely thought that 3 was it. It definitely felt that way, but, money.

I can't remember who it was, if it was the director or writers, but recently they addressed why Bo Peep couldn't be in this movie and it does make sense. Bo was porcelain, she couldn't survive anything the toys go through in this movie. She couldn't be tossed around by the toddlers, or run through the dump, or last for long in the incinerator. So practically, they couldn't have her be in this movie. This really was the perfect ending to the Toy Story films. It had so much heart and it left you emotional, but happy with where everyone ended up. I recently revisited Toy Story 4 and I think it still tells a good story, has heart, and most importantly, it doesn't cheapen what happened before. It's like bonus content.

Probably, but that doesn't leave her with much to do and it leaves her alone when everyone leaves. From a writing perspective, it's easier to just have her already be gone and you don't need to worry about her. Plus, it does leave open an opportunity to address her later.

Watching your reaction wrecked me at the end, it's such a good conclusion. Could they have ended it here? Absolutely. However, the journey continues and I loved the next film as well. It's like the Andy chapter is finished, but the Bonnie chapter begins and the adventures continue! I hope you keep going. I saw 1 in the theater just before college and it inspired my career in 3D. I even bought a Buzz Lightyear (exactly like the film version) at Disneyworld that year and years later I felt I should pass it on and gave it to my neighbor's child. I can't believe they're still making these films, but as long as they're enjoyable I'm here for it.

Omg I can not say how much I cried from beginning to the end! These movies meant so much to me literally grew up with them. To the intro to Andy being a kid just made me feel like him. So wow what a beautiful ending and it was the definitive end until they announced toy story 4 which yes people debate if it should've even existed but part 4 is really good. But agreed 3 could have been the end and I would have been fully satisfied. But yes perfect film very intense at times! For sure my favorite of the franchise.
