I NEED TO LEAVE game concept (Patreon)

I’ve been chipping away at learning rpg maker to create an oldschool top down horror game. I figured this would be the best place to start a small dev log!

The premise is a person who wakes up from a nightmare, and immediately feels like they need to leave their house. The game unfolds from there, giving one of three endings depending on how you approach the situation.

Right now I’m mostly testing sprites and events. I can make enemies chase characters, and I’ve figured out how to upload most of my artwork and music. My main goal is to make the game short and sweet. Not trying to do too much for my first attempt!

I’ll leave the rest sprite sheet here as well some concepts for the main character and the house itself.
